A young she-wolf paced the mountain side; without a pack, but not lonely. Hungry, though! The light dusting of falling snow made it harder to find a trail. Finally she landed on the trail of a rabbit.
Her name was Alirum.
A small she-cat and her brother lay curled at the foot of a young girl's bed. They were her protectors and comforters.
Their names were Angel and Quirk.
A small she-wolf lay by the fire place in an old house. She lifted her head at the squeaking of a wheelchair.
Her name was Tinsel.
An older black panther sat outside the store. People coming in and out stared at the strange cat who was waiting. Waiting for his human girl.
His name was Leather.
A she-Lynx lounged beside her boy on the couch. As he flipped channels, she yawned and rested her head in his lap.
Her name was Serin.
