Ryan sat nervously waiting, his breathing quickening every minute. 'Why am I here?' He thought. His mind drifted back a few months where his mates had put him in a competition for a reality TV show, little did he know it was for a new show called 'The Bachelor'. He had been interviewed and finally chosen as "The Bachelor". It was nerve-racking and exciting, however he was worried. What if none of the girls were any good? Flop of a first season then! As he worried, he hadn't seen someone enter the room till he was tapped on the shoulder. Looking up, he quickly stood, straightening his suit. The person that entered smiled.

'Hey. Chris Walker.'

'Ryan Spencer. We've met.' Ryan muttered as they shook hands.

'Time to go. So you nervous?' Chris asked, leading the way from the room.

'Course I am.' He replied with a smile. 'So how is this going to work?'

'Basically, you'll meet all the ladies one at a time, then there's going to be a cocktail party of sorts.' Chris glanced back at Ryan. 'You'll do fine'

'We'll see! I just hope the right women is in the group.'

'They've done their research. I've seen photos of some of them and read their information. Looks good for the first season.'

Chris pulled open the door and lead Ryan down the mansions front steps where the show was about to begin.

As they stood at the bottom of the steps, Ryan took a deep breath and tried to calm himself. He could see the cameras all around, ready and primed to capture every moment. Chris turned to him.

'Ok, this is where I leave you to it. The first limo will be arriving soon so just sit tight and everything will go smoothly. I'll be back after the first five girls have said hi. Good luck.'

That was being filmed and Ryan couldn't tell how sincere Chris was being. He didn't have time to ponder as a long black stretch limo pulled up. Again he took a deep breath and smiled.
