Written 2011.11.01.
your subdued words twist
through the air, snapping
the thick tension, and I
giggle, because I know you are
lying, because I know you are
telling a joke, and I keep
giggling, but why are you
staring at me like that, why
aren't you laughing too, why
aren't you smiling, and then
I am dizzy, my head
is spinning, I fall to the
floor in a daze, and I
want you to stop it,
stop, this isn't funny anymore,
it never was, liar, you filthy
little liar, stop it, stop it,
STOP IT!
Written in less than twenty minutes. Could you tell? This was a challenge to myself to see what I could write in a short amount of time, because I am a slow writer.
