.
Let me ask you something –
Who's better?
.
I've seen more
And – purely academic – know more
I love to believe that
I've felt more
Lost more, hurt more
Imagined and created more
– I think –
I loved more (maybe)
And fell harder
When you left me for her
Than she will
If you leave her
.
Who's better?
.
Did you choose her because
She knows what you want
How to walk, what to say
And she – purely worldly – knows more
She laughs more
Plays and enjoys more
She loves her life (and you)
She's gained more
Traveled farther, felt as much
And is altogether lovely
.
Who's better?
Never mind.
I already know.
Two guesses
(And the first
Doesn't count)
.
Who's better?
