Chris, Sam, Cat and Amie were all sitting in the Lobby of the Tower eating pizza. Chris was trying to explain some intense information that existed within the Tower, but Cat kept him quiet by offering him a slice of pizza every time he tried to begin explaining. Sam and Cat were probably the best to explain the Tower since they were the ones that still didn't fully understand it, meaning they could explain what they did know in understandable chunks.

At first Chris wanted to introduce Amie to Kiyoko, but Cat convinced him otherwise since it would have led to Chris explaining what Kiyoko was, and would have blown Amie's mind; though they would have to introduce Floor 6 to Amie, because it was a Floor that the lot of them were currently using regularly, so it would have been only fair for Amie to know about it.

"So you guys are pirates?" Amie took out another slice of the 15' pizza very shakily as she asked yet another question.

"Only in that particular world yes. If you want, you can join us; since we're all here we'll probably go into the Floor to continue the adventure." Cat stood up and pulled the lever on the Main Control deck to eject Kiyoko out of Floor 1. "Get prepared... Who you're going to meet is Kiyoko and she is a bit crazy."

"Why did you eject me from the Floor?" As usual Kiyoko was frustrated to be ejected so suddenly out of the Floor, but she saw that Cat had pulled the lever and seemed very confused. Usually it was Chris that ejected out of Floor 1, "What's happened to Chris?"

"Nothing he's eating pizza." Cat walked over to Kiyoko slowly and took her hand, "Come on you're gonna meet someone new."

"New friend?" Her expression immediately brightened up. When she was pulled past the wardrobe she saw Amie and she near exploded with excitement, Cat squeezed her hand to stop her from exploding and to hold her back. "New friend, new friend, new friend, new friend!"

"I would let her go if I were you, Cat..." Chris spoke through eating one of the larger slices of pizza, "If you keep her tied down while she buzzes with excitement the circuit board holding her consciousness will burn out."

It hadn't properly registered before, but technically Kiyoko was a robot. She had always been referred to as a physical interpretation of a holographic AI, but in all truth she was actually a robot. She didn't have all the hard-wiring and intense circuiting that would have classified her as a robot under current stereotypes-...

"NEW FRIEND!" Cat had let her go and she had tackled over Amie onto one of the far sofas away from the bookshelf.

"I never asked this before, but is Kiyoko a robot?" Cat leaned over the sofa Chris was sitting at and took one of the last slices of pizza.

"I don't really like using the term. The way Kiyoko's body was made was more of a synthesis rather than construction. She's made out of a soft, plastic like substance that the Tower emits as a waste product. Her brain isn't in her head; it's in the Main Control deck. I created some organs for her over the summer; she now has working lungs, an oesophagus, and a stomach. The food she eats is compacted into particles smaller than a baby's little fingernail, so she can eat a lot and not have to secrete it." Chris was observing Kiyoko as she bounced up and down on Amie while they were both on the sofa. She was doing better than when she had met Sam; she was using Standard English, she was just speaking far too fast for anyone to understand her.

"How did you create her eyes?" Cat finished off the slice she was eating and reached for another one.

"I didn't. Kiyoko!" Chris – amazingly – managed to grasp Kiyoko's attention away from bouncing on Amie. "Show us your eye trick."

Kiyoko poked herself in the eye, although instead of her finger wedging itself into her eye in some kind of bloody mess, it phased straight through it. She pulled her finger back out after a few seconds had passed and sat neatly next to a still frightened and dazed Amie.

"See I didn't create eyes, I put strategically placed projectors around the eye socket to create the illusion of an eye. Actually creating an eye from scratch would be far too difficult." Chris hopped over the outer sofa and began heading towards the Main Control deck. "Come on guys: time to go into Floor 6!"

"Alright." Kiyoko dived over the table and sofas and jogged towards the Main Control deck. She activated the stools and sat down on a rising one. "Come on over, Amie."

Sam helped Amie up and guided her over to the Main Control deck and onto a stool. She was still dazed from Kiyoko's 'welcome', so she seemed to flop on her stool. Sam and Cat took stools on opposite sides of Amie and watched what Chris was doing on the Main Control deck. It seemed that he was inputting some kind of extra information into the Floor's coding; neither could understand what it was. Sam was going to question what it may have been, but Cat stopped him, giving the notion that it wasn't worth the time of Chris explaining.

"Alright so that's done." Chris tapped what looked to be the enter key on the keyboard and turned around to face the rest of the group. "Someone help me with Amie and we'll take her into the elevator."

"We're taking her into the Floor?" Was a circulating question between the rest of the group; all but Amie was questioning Chris' intent since she was still incapable of moving and still in a state of shock from Kiyoko diving on her.

"I'm sure she'll enjoy it." Chris picked Amie up in a bridal carry and took her the elevator doors. He hadn't entered the right coding on the Main Control deck and therefore the doors weren't going to open any time soon. "Dammit... K?" The rest of the group were still at the Main Control deck, mouths open in shock of what Chris was doing. "... What?"

"You aren't serious aren't you?" Sam was the first to say something.

"What do you mean?" Chris turned around and began walking back to the Main Control deck.

"You're just gonna take her into the Floor? That's a bit against rules... isn't it?" Kiyoko, remembering the rules, questioned Chris' logic of 'inviting' Amie into the Floor.

"Oh right yeah..." Chris placed Amie back down on the stool that he had picked her off of. "Tower Rule 4: a person entering a Floor needs consent." He knelt down to Amie's level and poked her a bit.
"What are you doing?" No-one was sure of what Chris' intentions were, so yet another question circulated around the Lobby.

"Waking her up so I can get consent." He poked her a couple more times before she turned to Chris. "Wanna come into the Floor with us?"

"... Yeah okay..." she nodded, still very dazed.

"See! There we go!" Chris pushed up from the Main Control deck to get himself on his feet again and began typing in the correct coding for Floor 6.

"You okay, Amie?" Kiyoko - now much calmer - helped Amie onto her feet from the stool. She was acting as a support for her while they walked up to the elevator. Sam and Cat helped out not long after they began walking.

"I'm alright. Just a bit dazed." She managed to utter. Very fortunate she could now keep up conversation, since it would have helped in the Floor.

The elevator doors opened and everyone emptied from the Lobby into it. It ascended into Floor 6.

Amie opened her eyes to scorching sunlight. Eventually her eyes adjusted so she could see the sky. There were a few clouds here and there, but the majority was clear and blue. And since she could see the sky directly above her, she could tell that she was indeed lying on her back.

The sound of whooshing was heard from all around. It may have been strong wind, but upon pulling herself up she found that it was actually an ocean. She looked to the right of her and saw an island in the distance. It wasn't particularly far away, but it wasn't particularly close either, perhaps they had been sailing for an hour, maybe a little less.

She looked around the ship itself and noticed two people standing at the helm. She couldn't tell what they looked like or who they might have been since her eyes still hadn't adjusted to the light around her. Whoever they were, one of them was standing up by the wheel the other was draped over it looking all around the mechanism behind it.

"What would a helm-lock look like..." the person draped over the helm was Chris. He was feeling around the box holding the helms mechanism within it.

"I dunno..." the person next to Chris was Sam, leaning on the banister at the edge of the helm area. "You'd think it'd be on the side of it..." he spied a lever at the side of the box that housed the helms mechanism. "Maybe that's it..." he knelt down and pulled it, both pirates heard a click from the mechanism. Chris pushed himself back in a standing position and hesitantly attempted to move the wheel left to right. It was stuck in place.

"That'd be it then."

Amie's attention was then brought to the lower deck where two other people were chatting below a main mast. One was looking up to the crow's nest at the top, the other seemed to just be chatting to the one looking up.

"Are you sure...?" Cat was the one looking up the crow's nest.

"Relatively. The Floor would be sure to recognize you, and with that in itself you're probably the Lookout for the crew." Kiyoko was the other person stood at the lower deck; she was using some of Chris' patented terminology in order to convince Cat to jump.

"If you say so..." Cat mumbled as she threw off her shirt, overcoat and trousers, preparing to transform into her Werecat form. "But try and catch me if I fall..." she transformed and jumped as high as she could - which was about the half-mast height. The rest of the mast she climbed up, using her distended claws to scratch up against the peeling wood.

"Please make it..." Kiyoko whispered to herself. She wasn't 100% sure that the Floor had designated Cat as a Lookout - and to be honest she was being a bit melodramatic - but she knew how much Cat enjoyed being the Lookout on the Black and Tranquil Star's in the original Floor 6; she just wanted her to be that happy again.

Cat swung herself around the crow's nest and landed inside. She wasn't being shocked, she wasn't thrown off. She was fine. She was accepted into the crow's nest. Kiyoko was right! Cat was the Lookout for the crew once more! She shifted down to her normal self and realized how breezy it was at the highest point of the ship. She dropped down to the lower deck and picked up some of her clothes.

Kiyoko saw that Amie was awake and made her way over to her. She had a bit of spring in her step as well, although she had helped a fellow crew member find her responsibilities on-board.

"Hey, Amie!" She waved, notifying to her that she was heading her way.

Amie cowered slightly, remembering suddenly what this hooded girl had done to her in the dark room with sofas.

"Don't worry I'm not gonna bounce on you..." Kiyoko picked her up by her shoulders and checked if she could walk alright. "Good so there's no Emergency Protocol 3 in play here..."

"Where am I...?" Amie uttered a near silent question to Kiyoko.

"Platform Tower Floor 6; the Rebooted version of course." She was finished with her observations and stood tall in front of Amie. "Come on! Help me below deck with some stuff." She turned around and headed for a door that led to the lower deck.

"N-..." Amie gulped. "... No." She said firmly, not budging from the upright position she was plonked into.

"Huh...?" Kiyoko stopped and turned around, confused by what Amie had said.

"I want a better explanation than that. Platform Tower or whatever you called it means nothing to me. Tell me where I am or I'm not moving." She crossed her arms solidly, showing that she was adamant about what she had said: she wasn't moving until she got a proper explanation.

"I don't know where we are..." she wasn't lying. "I don't really understand it 100%... But I think we're in the Void. We're in no-man's land. Chris has said before that Platform Tower shouldn't technically exist... But it does anyway. It's special that way." She stepped forward and grabbed Amie's - who was physically shocked by what Kiyoko had said - and pulled her away from the side of the deck and down below deck.
