I'M SO SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A LONG TIME. LUCKILY MY DOC MANAGER IS WORKING NOW(or at the moment). ANYWAYS, TRY TO ENJOY(even though it sucks)~Invisiblehearts
I smiled to myself. Harmony turned around, and out of 'no where' I appeared!
"What? What are you doing here?," She sneered.
"Oh me? Is there some behind me that's about to sneak up on me?"
Harmony flipped her hair over her shoulder.
"I refuse to answer your question!"
I shrugged. "Oh well. I don't care. Besides, who likes popular snobs anyways? Especially ice queens like you."
Harmony balled her fists and snorted.
"Excuse me? I am not snobby!"
Then she punch my nose and I heard a crack. Blood-wait was it blood? If it was blood, then it was gold. Golden blood was coming out of my nose. Totally weird. Why hadn't I noticed it before? Oh right, I rarely get hurt. That's why.
Harmony smirked while Phoenix stared at my nose. Then she grabbed Phoenix's arm.
"Come on Phoenix, let's get away from that freak."
Before I could stop her, she was in her bright pink minivan. Ew. Harmony and Phoenix drove away. I covered my nose before anyone could see my golden blood.
Damn her. Phoenix, you are an asshole!
After I finished cursing under my breath, I drove home in my splatter- painted white car. When I got home, my mom was standing outside on the driveway. I stopped my car and got out.
"What is it?," I asked.
"You're supposed to-oh my god, what happened to your nose?"
"Phoenix's new girlfriend punched my nose."
"And why is that?"
"I called her a popular snob."
My mom shook her head. "Popular people…I never understood them and their plans. It was all rubbish."
I tried to smile-but it hurt a lot. "Yeah. Is there anything that I can do about my nose?"
She nodded. "There is some stuff in my first aid kit."
"Thanks."
I ran inside , upstairs, and into my mom's room. It was a nice room. The walls were white, but there was a Greek design in the middle. Or I should say painting. One painting showed some men fighting and an angel was watching over them. The angel in the painting was pretty. Her hair was light red and her eyes were blue. The angel's hair was in a ponytail and she was wearing a white dress that reached her ankles. The angel had golden bracelets and a shiny halo. Anyways, I walked into my mom's bathroom. The walls were painted white and the floor tiles were gold. A huge Jacuzzi lay in the middle of the bathroom. A light blue counter wrapped around the walls. I walked over to the counter and searched for my mom's first aid kit. After 3 minutes of searching, I found it. I took some tissues out of the kit and put it underneath my nose.
Jeez, life has been crazy lately. Damn Phoenix and Harmony! If it wasn't for her, then I wouldn't be here, bleeding gold blood. Well, atleast it beats watching Phoenix and I get to escape my angel duties for a little bit…
Then somehow, I fell asleep.
When I woke up, I was in my room. The last thing that I remembered was scaring Harmony. My friend, Moira, was sitting on my bed. Concern was splattered all over her face.
"Ugh, what the heck happened? My head and back hurts like crap."
"You passed out."
"Why? Did I pass out?"
"You're mom said that some girl punched your nose."
"I don't remember someone hitting my nose. The only thing that I remember is scaring Harmony."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, and did anything else happen?"
"We found you lying unconscious in your mom's bathroom. Something was in your shoulder though. I don't know if it was a bullet or a dart. Anyways, someone just tried to kill you."
My jaw dropped. "What?"
"Yes. There was a piece of paper attached to the dart or bullet. Here."
I gulped and read the letter.
Dear Cami,
You are an ungrateful brat. He doesn't need your help. And don't play dumb, you know who I'm talking about. You better stay away from him, or else you will face my wrath. In other words, you. Will. Die.
If you want to live, stay away from him.

I sighed. Now how the hell was I supposed to watch him? Hopefully this was just a cruel joke. I crumpled the red note up and threw it across the room.
"What did the note say?"
"I have to stay away from Phoenix."
Moira scratched her chin. "Huh. That's going to be hard."
I nodded my head. "Yep."
Then all of a sudden, I heard a tap on my bedroom window. It was Phoenix.
"Well, speaking of the devil's son, there he is.," I mumbled.
Moira glared at Phoenix. "What are you doing here?," she almost screamed.
He rose his eyebrows. "Just wanted to see how her nose is. Sorry about Harmony."
I glared at him and rolled my eyes. "You, sorry? Yeah right. I'll be fine . Don't worry, go back to your pathetic girlfriend. You two idiots deserve each other. I can't help you anymore."
Phoenix frowned. "If it's because of the note, don't worry."
I shot him another glare. "How do you know that?"
"I can read supernatural people's minds, remember?"
I mentally cursed at myself for forgetting that.
"You don't need to blame yourself."
I shook my head. "Damn you Phoenix."
He looked over at Moira, who was randomly looking around my room.
"Moira?," He asked.
Her eyes landed on Phoenix, and she frowned.
"What is it?"
"Can you leave so I can talk privately with Camilla? It will only be a few minutes."
"No!"
They bickered about it for awhile, then Moira gave in and left my room. Phoenix smiled and sat down on my bed.
"So, are you feeling better?"
I glared at him. "Why do you care?"
He looked taken a back from my 'outburst'.
"I want you to help me."
I shook my head. "You want me to help you? After you hooked up with Harmony and told me that you didn't need my help? Yeah right."
Phoenix ran a hand through his jet black hair. "Look, I'm sorry."
"No you aren't."
"What can I do to make you believe me?"
I sighed. "Dude, there's nothing."
"If I break up with Harmony will you forgive me?"
I shrugged. "No. She'll just want to murder me if I make you break up with her. Plus there's already someone else who wants to kill me. Then if one of them kills me, I wouldn'-ugh!"
He looked at me with a worried expression on his face. "What is it?"
"It's nothing that you would want to know. Or understand."
Phoenix smirked. "I can read your mind."
Damn it. I totally forgot that he could read minds.
"Ah. You said 'ugh' because you don't know if you're alive or dead. And if you die, you'll still be able to help me."
I glared at him. Gods, why couldn't he give me some privacy for once?
"I simply don't want to. It's too much fun.," he said with a smirk. "So, will you help me? Actually, do you want to make a bet?"
I sighed. "Sure. Why not."
Phoenix smirked again. "Alright."
"What is it?"
Then he grinned. "Let's see who can fall in love first. If I fall in love first, then I get to bug you. If you fall in love first, I won't bug you."
I smiled. "Ok. That seems easy."
"…but there's a catch."
I gulped. "What is it?"
"We aren't seeing who can fall in love with a mortal first. We're seeing who can fall for the other first."
I looked at him with a confused look on my face. "What?"
"It's a bet to see if I'll fall for you first, or if you fall for me first."
