AN: For the next year, I'll be posting a poem a day. No guarantees what time of day, but you can be sure that by 12AM EST, there'll be a new poem up. They'll range a variety of subjects, some depressing, some happy-ish, some very personal, and some detached. Each 'chapter' name will be the date I wrote the poem, which will always be the day before I post, followed by the title of the poem.

All of this poetry is in a journal, belonging to, according to the inside cover "A girl trying to figure out life, but isn't doing too well."

And for the record, no note past this will ever be this long. Enjoy.

I try to find a metaphor

perfect enough

to properly describe

life.

But none seem quite

right.

Most are too

broad,

some too

narrow,

and some too

cliché.

I guess life,

as my English teacher says,

"is

what it

is".

And I guess,

the answer to what to do with

life,

is the same.

Just live it.
