The moonlight shatters
Against my back.
I am barely standing.
The neon crayons of which I draw my life
Are changing my course, letting me die,
And I am barely standing.
The box where I keep my deepest memories
Has lost it's very own key,
And I am barely standing.
A brick wall jumps in front of me
While I'm running for my life,
And I am barely standing.
My weightless feelings and hopes
In this world never existed,
And I am barely standing.
I finally collapse
On the concrete ground.
I am no longer standing.
