I have a scented dream.

I have opened
Doors wide-
eyed, I stay in place.
I have used fingers
as anchors to ground,
In the air the smell—
detritus, Nov-
Ember , dirigibles. I bring
it through me, like rain
twirl Autumn through my fingers
like gum when I get bored.

A spatial line between my brow.
