recovery of
past comes from uncovering
the nostalgia
that you keep hidden
in shoeboxes, the cardboard
cannot bear the weight
beneath this healing
process, time passes, meaning
of these souvenirs
lost on the future
self puzzled by clarinet
reeds, incenses: symbols
of the four years spent
finding yourself, left reading
letters addressed to
remnants of past self,
decisively closing the
cursor of childhood
