A little poem about being in love with someone, yet not being able to tell them for fear of how they'd react. Any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

Never Able
I sit beside you every day,
and resist the urge to stare.
If I told you how I felt,
what would you do?
Would there be an
awkward silence
that would be
filled by awkward laughter?
Would your dark blue eyes
be as cold
as your rejection?
Would you try
to pass it as a bad joke?
Or dare I hope
that you feel the same?
But it doesn't matter
what you'd do.
Cause I'll never be able
to tell you
how I feel.
