And Still We Dance

As the night falls around us

I hear the cry of every heart I've broken.

But soon the rain pouring down from the heavens above

Drowns out the guilt and cleanses my longing soul.

The lights are on us and us alone

For we are the only ones left in the world.

All other things, all other noises, all distractions have vanished.

Just you

And me.

And still we dance.
