I remember Paradise
Mountain air, so cool and misty
The mild warm sun on my neck
Every breath, you were breathing in a cloud
A cloud is like a fragment of Heaven.
I remember the dusty roads and the grassy fields
And all the warm, inviting, smiling faces
I remember wildflowers and barbed wire
And cows grazing in a pasture
And tears gliding down my cheeks in the temple,
Tears for the forgotten children
Paradise was a land of beauty, of holiness,
A place of regrets
But I shall never regret going there
I wish I was back
In Paradise
