General POV:

Back at the principal's office…

As the head principal watched the newcomer Suzuka departure her leave shortly, her now gentle carefree nature soon reverted back into that of sternness upon seeing whom her current new guest was.

His special uniform and pin identified that he was one of the special council members chosen from the high school branch-except unlike the others, she could tell he was considered more 'different' from them...he was the only one whom she hadn't seen before. A new face, yet she automatically realized he was the 'hidden' student Yosuke mentioned about. Even now, she and Yosuke were still surprised Satoshi kept this particular student's profile information completely confidential from them at first…a special pawn of his possibly? Whatever the reason, one thing's for sure was this student wasn't coming here just for mere small talk…his given vibe already hinted as much. He probably came here on Satoshi's behalf wanting an explanation regarding about the newcomer just now…but she wasn't going to spill all of the beans to him. Not when she 'accidentally' found out about Satoshi's true intentions recently.

Seeing the principal changing attitudes upon his arrival, the boy smiled mysteriously at her presence before respectively bowing towards her shortly afterwards.

"Greetings Fukoka-sama, head principal of junior high branch. I apologize for my sudden intrude earlier. This our first time meeting, yes? It'd be awfully rude to not introduce myself-I'm Izuru Geijiroh, one of the special council members sent by the high school principal on given notice-you do recall now, don't you?" He questioned, now eyeing towards the principal.

The witty essence of the middle branch principal soon returned upon realizing her assumptions were indeed on track here. She then carefully narrowed her eyes at the boy student. He was awfully formal with her-more so that he was different from rest of the high school council members. He looked almost as if he knew something she didn't-something beyond her reach of expectations. Who really was this boy anyway? She knew he was one of the chosen 15, but he was a strange one indeed. Judging by Satoshi's preference, he probably knew more school information than normal students should go beyond to…else; Satoshi wouldn't call him here in the first place-he would have came here himself.

"Yes, I recall. But enough with the formalities, I would like you get on to the point. You're here mainly because of the uninformed information regarding about the latest newcomer, am I right?"

The boy smiled-or more so smirked, at her remark. This boy really was strange…he looked eerily calm at this point, making the principal slightly uncomfortable for some reason.

"The middle branch principal is, as known to be, expectantly sharp indeed…but that was the her wasn't it? The newcomer just now."

The principal slightly flinched in response before muttering something incomprehensible under her breath. Darn, he caught on…she was taken aback that he was more so the sharp one here. Guess there really is no point in hiding it now…she was going to go through a long explanation now wasn't she?

The mysterious brunette was now patiently waiting for her next coming answer upon his given question. As if in deep thought, he saw her suddenly pondering. After a few minutes of silence or so, he heard her giving out a small sigh before finally seeing her speak to him again.

"Alright…I tell you."

***9th Story*** Reiji and Suzuka Chapter 2: Reason The Last Chosen Candidate

Koiya's/Reiji's POV:

I was really taken aback by her sudden impulse on me earlier. Honestly, I didn't expect her to react like that, more so on returning my embrace for the matter of fact here…was she really going to forgive me that easily?

Perhaps it was just me, but maybe that one factor was something that didn't change from her…she was still a little naive child at heart. A sweet, softhearted, forgiving one. I then lightly stroked her hair and smiled at the last thought. Though it's been almost 2 years since we've last seen each other, she seemed a tad bit smaller now…but even so, some parts of Suzuka was still same old, same old…

We've probably in the same position for quite awhile by now. I had to admit, it took awhile comforting her. Sometimes her words would send daggers towards me, but even so, I still longed being at her presence regardless. I was glad I was there for her this time. That was all that really mattered to me right then and there.

It's strange isn't it? How one wishes for something to last for an eternity. For me? That would probably be now. I would like this one moment to last for an eternity.

But I knew I had to get back to reality here. I then gradually sighed at this.

I turned my gaze slightly downwards to see Suzuka's face buried somewhere among my school uniform. Surely my uniform must've been wet by now, but she seemed to have finally calmed down, as I could feel her breathing rate returning back to normal. Although, I was still rather surprised to the fact that she hadn't released her tight grip on me by now… I then turned a tad bit redder at this.

I really wasn't sure how to put this into words…but truth be told, I've always had this secret crush on her ever since we were kids. It was different from others though, because we somehow felt this special connection between us... I really liked her back then, and even now I knew that fact hasn't changed in the slightest. She still made my heart flutter. She was still my first love. But how did she feel about me exactly…?

"E-Erm, Suzuka-chan, you know you can let go of me now…" I suddenly raised my voice somewhat unstably. Not I really wanted her to, but…how long has it been since I've last said her name again…? It almost felt like forever.

I then heard her muffling in my shirt in response. Though it was barely audible, I somehow managed to hear what her words were like.

"Why…did you suddenly leave like that? How…what happened back then…?" she muffled hesitantly, though I could still hear some curiosity mixed into her voice. She seemed to ignore my previous comment earlier, but much to my other relief, she sounded a lot more stable than before now.

Although I was slightly taken aback by her sudden question, I knew it was to be expected of her. She'll still have to know sooner or later. She had the right to know about my mother after all…thinking back, I wasn't really sure whether I was ready to tell her yet or not.

But in the end, I decided to tell her. No one was around here at the moment, so it should be fine for now…

Suzuka's POV:

"My…mom passed away after the summer year ended. On the last day of summer, I left for a couple of reasons. It was mostly because I was 'adopted' into this school, but…that's all I can really tell you for now. I'm not allowed to go any further into it…a lot of things just happened."

My eye widened at this. Did…did I not hear correctly? Kumi-san passed away…?

As I finally got the courage to look up to his face, I then saw the pained expression written on it. He was smiling, but that smile was awfully strained.

Just then, I felt a pang of guilt hit my chest. Like me, Rei only had his mother for a close relative. My mother and Kumi-san were often very good friends, so they got along well together. I really liked her as well; so it was shocking to suddenly hear her now gone like that all of a sudden… Wow, how could I have been so selfish all this time? I never expected his reason would be like that…was that also why he changed his name as well?

Sure, he was still leaving a lot of information out from me, but…I somehow trusted him now. Seeing his main reason was because he had became an orphan, I really didn't have anything else to say about it. I felt bad, so I was already satisfied with his answer, moreover not wanting to plunge into it any further.

Unknowingly, I tightened my embrace on him. As if I wasn't feeling bad already, I now felt even worst. It must have been really hard on him…

Fighting off the tears rimming at the corner of my eyes again, I guiltily shifted my gaze downwards before speaking to him again.

"O-Oh…I-I'm…I'm so sorry to hear that…it-it must've been hard on you huh? And I-I had no idea, I'm really sorry…"

Before I could utter another word however, I then saw Reiji wiping away my tears with his fingers. Taken aback, I looked up as I immediately felt my face heat up, my shoulders unconsciously stiffening a bit. Erk, why-!

However, I gradually eased up the moment I saw the way he smiled. It was still a sad one, but it was more compassionate now-a look I would often see when I cried into his arms the past.

Seeing I was now speechless, he appropriately began to speak to me again.

"It's ok. I never blamed you in the first place; so don't feel bad about yourself. Even if she may not be by my side anymore, I was still grateful enough to have her as my mother. Before she left, she at least granted me the privilege to enroll into this special school. So cheer up. It's really not your fault."

At this, I felt a little bit better. Reiji really was impressive…he was able to handle it so calmly, despite the topic being the death of his mother. But even so, I still felt bad. Perhaps if I had known his reason back then, I wouldn't have started to hate him in the first place…

Rei's a type of person who was always kindhearted to a fault. He always placed everyone before himself, not even realizing he was getting taken advantaged of by others. Being and knowing his character so well, I never should have doubted him to begin with…I wonder, if I hadn't known his reason, would I still be mad at him right now?

I then looked downwards again. There has to be something I could do to at least make him feel better…He comforted me, and right now, it was the perfect time to comfort him back as well.

So I thought of the one possible thing I could do for him at the moment.

"I…don't hate you anymore. Really, I don't. I forgive you now. Just…don't suddenly dropout from me ok?" Was all I could say back to him, if not almost jokingly. It was a strange thing…I honestly didn't hate him anymore. His reason was more than enough to satisfy me.

His eyes widened for a slight moment before I saw his warm smile soon returning back to his face. For the first time in years, I unknowingly returned back his soft smile. Rei really was best in his warm state…I guess that was a side I really liked about him.

However, we both immediately flinched the moment we heard a loud bickering coming from the hallway behind us. Simultaneously, we instantly separated before turning our heads towards the other direction. We then sweat dropped in unison when we now saw the scene that laid ahead of us however.

Though their figures were barely audible, I could make out one of them being Hakoya while the other being the boy known as… "Yohru" was it? From earlier, if I remembered correctly…the two were arguing again, something I couldn't make out of. It was funny how their voices echoed loudly; despite the fact they still haven't taken notice of us yet.

Seeing that they were heading straight towards us by now, Reiji unusually panicked before quickly turning to my direction and whispered something towards my ear.

"Only call me "Rei" or "Reiji" when we're not in public. You can address me as "Koiya" for now. Please, it's really urgent."

I could only nod in response. Although I was still slightly confused by this, I decided to not question him any further. Judging by his tone of voice just now, he sounded really desperate…I guess I'll just go by what he says for now. Wonder why though…? It wouldn't hurt calling him "Rei" in front of Hakoya and Yohru now would it…?

-Unless, they too didn't know about his "other" name.

Just then, my eyes widened. By any chance, does his name "Reiji" also apply for rule #62 as well…? That…was that even possible…?

As my mind was now consumed by confusion once again, I was soon cut off by a certain yellow-eyed boy's voice calling after us.

"Oi! Hey look, there they are-! You guys done reconciling~?" the boy known as Yohru called out, now grinning mischievously down at us. As Hakoya had also turned around, she instantly gaped when she saw us. I immediately blushed in response. H-How on earth did he know-?

Out of embarrassment, I then glanced towards Reiji's direction. Oddly, he too was blushing…or not. I mean, that wasn't just my imagination now was it…?

Now turning my vision back towards the other 2 ahead of us, I was taken aback when I suddenly felt a certain blacked-haired girl softly embracing me, now seeing Yohru silently gaping at us. H-Hakoya? When did she get here so fast-?

"There you are Suzuka-! I was a worried sick about both you and Koiya just now-! Why did you suddenly leave like that? Do you somehow have something against Koiya by any chance…?" she worriedly asked.

By now, I could highly assume that "Koiya" was indeed Rei's new given name…possibly by the school principal, if that. But for now, I was more so touched by Hakoya's sudden gesture on me. Apart from my mother, I've never really been hugged by a female friend before, much less them worrying about me. The feeling felt so nice, I was almost ready to cry if it weren't for the fact that I was exhausted from crying right now. So instead, I warmly smiled back at her before speaking to her again.

"I-I'm fine, sorry for running off like that-

"KOIYA-KUN~!"

Before I could even say another word however, I was soon taken aback by the sudden new cheery voice now calling for…Reiji?

Shifting my gaze towards my right, I was surprised to find a sudden girl…glomping Reiji from behind like that. Although she was incredibly beautiful, her hair oddly resembled like that of the principal….the only difference was that she had golden orange laces tied on either side of her hair, and her eyes however were a shade of violet instead.

Seeing Rei blush and flinch in response, I uncomfortably knitted my eyebrows. For some reason, the sight was awfully irrating to me…did Reiji possibly like her too? I hope not…why was I even feeling so repelled right now? It didn't make any sense…Rei was bound to be popular with the girls sooner or later. He was flawless in looks and kind-hearted in general.

Seeing the violet-eyed girl notice me staring at the two of them first, I stiffened in response before hearing her naturally sweet high-pitched voice once again.

"Say, Hakoya-chan, whose the girl beside you~? Is she the newcomer?"

Before I could hear Hakoya's response however, we then heard the sudden nearby intercom playing out loud, gradually hearing the principal's voice echoing all around the school soon afterwards.

"-Good afternoon, honorable students of Gakuen SNPAO~! It's me, principal of junior high branch, Fukoka-sensei speaking-! If you all haven't noticed yet, there was a 'special' newcomer that came in today. From now on, I've finally decided to pick her as our last chosen 'special' council member-! That's right, as of now; she will be attending her class in the 'special' classroom with all the other 4 chosen 'special' council members as well…please guide her well~! Her name is Suzuka Geijiroh, so please, welcome her everyone-!"

And with that, the intercom suddenly ended.

Almost immediately, I now heard the wild murmurs and chit chattering amongst other students nearby. Strangely, I found everyone's eyes staring at me… The violet-eyed girl, Yohru, Hakoya, and even Reiji. They all had they're eyes wide open, gaping at me even.

I then blinked, tilting my head slightly in response. To be honest, other than hearing my name, I wasn't exactly sure what the principal said back there…she was talking too loud in my opinion.

Seeing that I was still confused, Hakoya then whispered something to me.

EH?

General POV:

Meanwhile, at the primary branch…

"-Her name is Suzuka Geijiroh, so please, welcome her everyone-!"

When the intercom finally ended, a certain lavender-haired girl spoke up, still in her "special" classroom with her other five elementary classmates.

"…Ne guys, did you just hear that? The junior high branch finally has 5 special council members now…the last member is an onee-san right? I wonder how she's like…" she timidly spoke out, her blue eyes now casting downwards upon her shyly smoothing out her uniform skirt.

"Suzuka Geijiroh, 13-years old. Blood type A. Height is 5'4, and currently a second year. Has only a mother, and arrived at the school gates at exactly 12:00 a.m. A shy girl in general. Tch, just like the other junior high members, there's nothing really special about her…" The now dark blue-haired boy spoke, his teal eyes penetrating mid air.

"Hey! How would you know if you've never even met her? Way to judge people, smart boy." This time, a blond girl with yellow-orange eyes spoke up, now standing upright beside the lavender-haired girl. The teal-eyed boy glared and huffed at her in response.

"Um, guys…?" The pretty boy with brown hair questioned, sweat dropping at the situation right now.

The other silvered-haired boy that wasn't part of the whole conversation was still sleeping throughout his whole time in the classroom however.

Meanwhile, at the senior high branch…

"-Her name is Suzuka Geijiroh, so please, welcome her everyone-!"

Almost immediately when the intercom had ended, a certain golden-haired boy suddenly barged into the high school classroom.

"Hey guys, did you hear-? There's going to be a new girl special council member now in the junior high branch~!" The golden-haired boy chimed cheerily to his other 3 council members.

The boy with glasses sighed in response, filing a load of papers. "You're going to hit on her even if she's younger than you huh…?"

The pink-haired girl with purple eyes then giggled in response, also helping out with the papers as well. "Haha! As expected, Katsuro-kun can be such a flirt~!"

The beautiful bedazzled icy-blue eyed girl on the other hand then deeply frowned in response. "Disgusting…"

Ignoring all his member's previous comments at first, the golden-haired boy then strolled to the only male wearing glasses in the room before speaking again. "So, how she like~?" he asked eagerly.

The boy's amber eyes flickered before he eerily smirked under his glasses in response. He was head, so he would know first from the rest of his members. After a moment elegantly adjusting his glasses, he sweetly smiled to his friend.

"You'll see."

General/Fukoka's POV:

Back at the principal's office…

Now that the last chosen newcomer was finally here and everything, Satoshi's bound to set a lot of things into motion…she was hoping to stop his 'prophesied' plans before anything else happens all by herself, but apparently that wasn't going to work anymore. She had already told most of the newcomer information to this strange brunette in front of her, and that was final. But even so, hopefully, just hopefully, they could eventually do something about it…

"…Yes. I was going to announce it in due time… but it seems you and Satoshi have already beaten me to it. As principal, I have my reasons, however." She added, if not carefully.

She then stood up, looking out her window to the retrieving figure of a certain newcomer and Hakoya walking beside her. She unknowingly smiled at the sight of the two-hopefully, that girl will be able to make some very good friends around here…

When I first met her, I immediately knew she was going to be the final key on setting things into motion. Well…this was a special recruitment we were 'fated' on completing to begin with. It was an inevitable given. Something I was afraid to face…yet something I daringly hoped to change.

At this, the principal bravely eyed back the mysterious brunette in response. That's right…she needn't to worry about it so much. She had faith in them.

It was they who had the power to control their own destiny.

There were currently now 5 chosen special ones at the middle school branch she had personally picked by hand; each especially different and interesting in their own individual way. Regardless, it may very well be the perfect combination…

Yohru.

The simple, open-minded, never-ending bright, happy-go-lucky guy.

Hakoya.

The calm, yet hotheaded girl with unbeatable inhuman strength.

Kotome.

The beautiful, cheery optimistic, being middle school's now known ideal female student.

Koiya.

The kindhearted, princely gentleman among middle school's known ideal lady's man, yet adorably awkward and stiff on the inside unexpectedly.

-But last but not least, there was finally "her".

Suzuka.

The shy, fragile, yet purest one of all. A girl of flawless doll features but hides the smile of an angel within her.

Together, they may very well form an unbreakable bond for all she knew. Though they were all currently unaware of their own inner occult powers right now, she knew it was definitely inside them somewhere. She sensed it, and she had chosen them for a reason.

She then wondered, how were the 5 going to react when they meet the other 10 special council members later on…? She recalled back how they were all like. They too were all individualized in their own way. Will the 5 somehow influence them, or not possibly…? Although she wasn't exactly sure when, she knew their meeting was coming near regardless. And that, was going to change their course of action, depending on how well they manage on interacting with the rest of their kind as well.

"You're right. She's indeed the last chosen member we've all been waiting for this whole time…maybe when you get the chance, I would like you to welcome her later."

"Her name is Suzuka Geijiroh."

Yes…if it were she and 5 of them, she'll believe that they'd be able pull it off for now. It was almost like gambling, but she trusted her first judgment. At first sight, their potential was significantly different from most average Gakuen SNPAO students. Thus, was why she considered them 'special'.

But for the sake of the students, I will not let Satoshi have it his way. Even if it means facing him-I will face him head on.

Although she could see a tough road laid ahead just for the 5 of them, perhaps maybe for the principal, it was now going to be a new sight to look forward to from here on out.

-Let the special project begin.

A/N: 9th story done-! Ahhhh I really like this chap-! (I was on a roll with this one XD) If you didn't notice, ONLY the principal's point of view takes place back at the 7th story, so technically, it's a continuation from there. Moreover, the mystery student is officially introduced, more mystery kicks in, the romance progresses, and Suzuka finally meets all 5 members in this chap-! There's going to be quite a number of new characters going to be introduced later on in the story, so here's a foresight of them-! Which one's interesting or your favorite so far? ;D Oddly, I really liked writing in the principal's point of view LOL. I wonder why? XD Oh boy, a lot of new characters and even more mystery is going to come in, so stay tune-! Though there a couple of new names mentioned out right now, all questions will be answered in due time. ;D Reviews GREATLY appreciated-! Thanks for reading! ^^

P.S.: I'm probably going to stop giving previewed chap titles now since I rapidly change them anyways…sorry bout that guys OTL
