The doorbell rang and echoed through the halls of the house.
"Coming!" an 11 year-old ran softly to the door effortlessly.
"Oh, good mor-" the twins stopped halfway and blushed.
"What's wrong?" she asked half asleep. They just stared for a while then blushing looked away.
"Your not ready." one of them, Kyle, pointed out. She looked down and slammed the door.
"Sorry, guys go ahead first!" she yelled out of embarrassment. She had just worn a shirt and underwear nothing else. She walked over to the kitchen and
cooked some breakfast. She walked up to the cabinet to get the pan but got a spice in her eye.
"C-crap! This is the-!" she cursed tearing up at the powder burning her eye.
"Mandy?" She turned around and seeing her brother was there made her panic but didn't show it.
"I-I...a part of the ceiling went in my eye." Lying with tears that told the hidden truth. He grabbed her head and opened her eye she closed pretending it hurt. He slowly blew in her eye carefully.
"Better?" she nodded then got up muttering a thank you.
After she left she looked to the neighbors. There were some people moving in.
"Oh, the Robinson's left? Well, this day's getting better." she left to school and made it with two minutes to spare.
"Hey, Mandy!" Kyle and his twin, Kry, greeted at the same time.
"Hi!" she greeted back with a smile.
"Hey, we left early, sorry." Kry asked.
"It's okay." she replied.
The bell rang and the kid sat as the teacher came in.
"Class! We have a new student, Rex. He's new so be nice!" Everyone watched him but they couldn't see him, only his back. Soon he turned around and Mandy was shocked. He was like her. He had blue eyes and black hair. He was fair toned and his left eye was bandaged. In all he was handsome but gave an impression he had fought recently.
"You! You came-" Mandy yelled suddenly but before she could finish she stopped herself. She just sat down and pretended nothing happened.
She regretted shouting it but the transfer student was excited about him there. During lunch she walked out dizzy. And once she got into the back of the school where no-one except her kind can find she fell.
"You need to be feed." Rex explained.
"No! I hate it! Even my brother..." At those words he grabbed her shoulders cause a small pain stab through her body.
"He knows?" he urged panicking and she knew why but ignored it.
"No. I was small that time. I saw my brother cut himself on accident and I licked it. Of course you know what happened next. I don't need to explain it...but you know he didn't ask why or tell anybody what happened." Rex then smiled. He gestured a hand. She grabbed it but pain struck through her body.
"Okay, thanks for telling me. Hey at least now they aren't after you anymore." at that sentence they both had frowns.
"Haha! You know now there after you too?" she laughed coldly. He grabbed her hand and pushed her down.
"Get. Off." Mandy spoke pushing him off.
"I don't think you should take this lightly." he glared at her but she threw him off her. As he was up she did a hand-stand and jumped like that almost hitting him. Right before she could hit him he vanished.
"We should stop!" He simply said. She nodded in agreement.
"You still need to..." he began but stopped having a prepared glare. This was going to take awhile to get along.
"I accidentally put some of the powder in my eyes this morning. And then I put some in my breakfast so don't worry it's just the powder." at that he smiled. Maybe not. Maybe.
