Black Friday ~

And you're out, getting ready

For another round.

Here I am, alone.

Pleading with the muses for

The love I used to find

Looking at you.

You forgot me through

The mark you made,

Through our shared pain.

Our names like the back of

A little girl's notebook.

The heart between them

That was ours.

Everything only we

Understand.

Together we can only

Be perfect, and apart

We are alone.

We only have each other.
