Alright this is more of a monologue than a poem. But it's allot about me in 168 words. If you hadn't worked it out already I am in fact gay and this is in some ways what made me know that I was.
My friend told me I should put this on my profile but I want to know peoples thoughts on how it's wrote mostly...
So without farther or do...
I remember the first time I realized
I was the tender age of twelve
I was sat three rows from the front
working on my long division
Two rows in front he was sat
his pen being chewed
his fingers tapping on his book
his hair falling over his eyes
He was perfect to me
Sitting there in black, white and red
I dropped my pen
And ducked under the desk
Asking myself what was going on
At the tender age of twelve
The other in my class were looking the other way
Rating girls asses
But HE was perfect
I knew by logic I was the only one
The only one who couldn't take their eyes off him
I knew I was different
It was staring me in the face
I didn't act like my older brother
I didn't have half naked posters
And hell even my younger brother
That in that lesson was the very day
I worked out
That me Finlay Harper
Was in fact gay.
