yeah, I didn't forget the times
where I cried over little things or
that place where I first saw you and
thought I fell in love.

I know I'd always remember
when you first talked to me.
those times I held so tightly to my chest
when heavens' cries touched earth
and I cried in the rain.

wouldn't think I would forget
many times I've acted in your presence,
wearing a mask marked happiness
while inside I was falling.
all of the things I did for you,
I wouldn't; shouldn't throw away.
my efforts, time and dried-up tears
in the yesterday so long ago.

but you know, it's been a long time and now
I'm over you.
