He left you there, with all these people. They are trying to consume you, and you fight so as not to become like one of them; not to be so hard and cold. You have feelings unlike them.

You promised me fame,

You promised we'd have it all one day,
But you let me fall,
I lost my faith,
I knew there was a reason to be afraid.
You left me here
In this cold, dark place,
The City of Shame,
Where everyone's forced a smile upon their face.
The poeple here don't know what it's like
To finally admit what you're feeling inside,
With their hearts chained up and made of stone,
Always feeling like you're so alone,
Living in the City of Shame.
