Do you know what it's like to cut yourself

Dragging the blade across your skin?

Blood creeping out of the lines you made

Is this intentional act a sin?

Your beating heart is like a sponge

Soaking in your depression

You may have the desire to stop cutting

But it has become an obsession.

Hit a brick wall, scream at a friend

But your feelings still stay stuck in your brain

What do you want for Christmas? Some serious help

Because you feel yourself turning insane.

Bullied, abused, disorder or disability

Depressed, a loss, or LGBT

Why, God, why, you give us the curse

Of being able to cry?

You and He want you to be happy

Please, please, don't be afraid

There's help only if you seek it
