More Than Just A Face
If you were to stare
For just a little while
At me
What would you see?
A face riddled with scars
And acne?
Teeth of a vaguely whitish colour.
And lips red raw with teeth marks
And rips.
But work your way up
To my eyes.
Dark brown
With the faintest hint of blue.
Compassionate.
Loving.
Angry.
Scared.
They say the eyes are the window to the soul.
What do you see through mine?
