What do you look like
beneath that thick shell
what do you sound like
behind that rough yell
what do you hear
through those earphones blaring loud
what do you see
beneath that dark shroud
Who are you
what are you
if it was all peeled away
what would we see
what would we hear
Would it be better?
Would it be worse?
Who would you be?
What are you hiding,
beneath that mask
would we see a beautiful rose?
or a cruel thorn?
What do you say,
when no one else can hear the sound
Who are you,
when no one else is around
