Fall Colors
Your beauty is like fall colors
That never seem to fade
You're God's perfect masterpiece
One of few that he has made
Your face is like an angle's
From the heavens in the sky
Hair so fair
Spun of gold
Horizon blue
The color of your eye
What Joy
What joy it is to live a wonderful life
A gift that conquers human strife
But what joy I would have it be
To some how have you fall in love with me
The nights grow longer
And the dusk is strained
My heart trembles with sullen pain
My life's ambition has turned to blowing sand
I wonder why my single wish
Is to only hold your hand
