Similar to my other poem Stand Up, this one was inspired by the Rascal Flats song "I Won't Let Go".

I Won't Let Go:

When the days are long

And my life seems to be gone

I shall stand up

I shall stand by

I shall fight to the end

Owing myself that much.

I will face my fears

I will show my pride

I will show the world

They can't knock me down.

Even when my dreams

Are shattered

And my world is broken.

When my heart

Hurts too much

And my hope is

Forever lost

I will stand

And lift my face

To show this world

That this is me

And prove that I

Won't let go.
