Without Inspiration
This feels forced.
There's no inspiration,
There's no feeling,
There's no point.
The reward might be great,
Eternal happiness and all,
But the journey there
Is just too high
A price to pay.
You have no knowledge of this
Beyond what I tell you,
For you are blind,
And cannot see.
You think you know me,
You tell me you do,
You drill it into my head,
That you will be there for me,
But every time I need you,
You're helping someone else
Or
You're not even there at all.
Here you sit
Reading my poem
Criticizing my every line
And yet you wonder
What is this poem about?
If I must tell you
You are too dense,
Immature,
Uneducated,
And you have no knowledge of life.
But if I must
I must,
This poem is about
My life.
There's no point,
No emotion, not anymore,
This is my life,
Without Inspiration.
