So, this is my first story in . I hope you enjoy the first chapter, don't worry, everything will (hopefully) make sense later on and this is still the first chapter. Give it time. But, I would really appreciate it if you left a review telling me what to improve on. And thus, here's the first chapter!
The Elemental Warriors
Dreaming of the End of Everything
My name is Tony Rivers, and I have been having dreams.
'So what?', you might say. 'We all have dreams.', but these weren't regular dreams. For one, my friends, Roy Knowings and Piper Kellington, also had the same dreams. Though they didn't have the first dream I had.
And, the other reason was that the dreams started out with...a dream that showed the end of the world. I can still remember the whole. I was standing on top of a skyscraper, with people I didn't recognize besides Roy and Piper, and watched as the world started to end. I didn't know how I knew that, but I just knew. I could see volcanos starting to pop out of the ground and spew lava onto the streets of New York. Don't ask how I know it was New York.
I watched as people ran for their lives, screaming for help. Some saying, "It's Judgement Day!"
Though I don't understand how I could have heard them from such a high distance.
One of the people that I was standing on the skyscraper up to me and held my hand. She had long brown hair and warm brown eyes, she was very pretty and I felt flustered when she held my hand. She looked around 11-13. I was 11.
The most eye-catching thing about her though, is that she had a scythe in her other hand. Now that I notice, everyone, even me, Roy, and Piper, had weapons.
"This is...do you think we can still stop this?" The girl asked me, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I wanted to say no, I mean, how can you stop this? But for some reason I said, "We can still try."
The girl smiled. "Yeah."
I looked back at the other people. Everyone except a little boy looked around 11-13. But... something seemed off, there seemed to be a calm atmosphere, even though the world was ending. What was wrong with everyone? What was wrong with me. Why isn't anyone panicking?
Someone, a boy with dark hair and even darker eyes, spoke. "We need to head out soon." He looked rather sad. "We'll stop Knightmare, no matter what!"
Everyone nodded, even I. What was going? Why am I here? Why do I have a sword?
"We'll head out when everyone's ready. If you want, you can say your final respects to this city."
He turned walked into a door. He disappered in the darkness, Piper followed the dark eyed boy.
I wanted to ask Roy what was going on, but he left too.
There were 4 of us left on the roof, and I didn't know anything of them. Not a very good position to be in.
The dream ended there.
I want to say that was the true end to it all. That the dream was only part of my over-active imagination. I would even go as far as hope maybe I was just going crazy. But no, that wasn't the end. That was just the beginning of one, no, the most traumatizing part of my life.
I would have to endure life, death, and everything in between.
I would ask for you to wish me luck, but I really don't want anyone else involved in this, and if he found out you were cheering me or my friends on, you might not be safe.
But, please, don't lose yourself to sorrow, or else he'll be able end all life as we know.
Goodbye, for now.
And that's the first chapter. A bit melodramatic in my opinion, but I'll work on that. Leave me a review please! I really wish to improve.
