Independence:

Where has the people's sense

Of independence gone?

Why do so many do

What they are told

Instead of what the believe?

What happened to individuality?

I feel

As if I walk amongst clones

Instead of individuals.

It as if I am an outsider

In my own world

Because I choose to think for myself.

The people have forgotten

Who they are

And everyone who fought for them.

Instead

They follow the one person

That will only lead them

Into a world

Of war

Instead of peace.

The one thing

That they were

Truly searching for.
