Let's let these boys live lives

Before going off to war

And not give them responsibility

They've never known before

In an unnecessary fight

These little boys too innocent

Too young to see the light

Let's dress them up in unform

To show off all their worth

Then send them to the battlefield

Let's make them shoot their brothers

To prove they have a spine

Let's tell them how brave

They are to join the fight

For their enemies just as young

Let's play on their need
