Autumn Storm

Green, red, yellow, brown,

Leaves are falling down, down, down.

Streaks of color drifting by

Going, flowing, saying bye.

Thunder claps, lightening cracks.

Skies open, trees burn.

The curling, furling, hurling wind

Unravels life at every turn

Casting shadows, bursting lights

The autumn storm has come tonight.
