Being alone

It's not to bad, but...

There's no-one to say

'I love you'.

I'm not sad

Being alone.

Not at all.

I like alone.

Being alone,

I can think to myself.

Trace the lines of my veins

To the point of no return.

Being alone,

I can cry and nobody cares

I can figure out my life

I can just say I'm fine

And nobody cares.

I can wander around,

Do whatever

Find my bearings

But still lost in the 'never'

I can look outside

See the snow,

And look for the things

I want to know.

Maybe I'll lay out

In the wide open expanse

Finding myself

In the snowy trance.

I'll be alone

Eat alone

Sleep alone

And Die alone.

I'll just find my prince

Somewhere else

Somewhere afar

And away.
