If you died tomorrow

Would my love stop?

Would it blow away with the wind?

Or just explode and pop?

Or would it leave me slowly,

So I could mourn your loss?

Weep over your stony grave

And carve you on my cross?

It might stay with me forever

It might not leave me be

The thought I'd never see you

What that would do to me?

It does not bear to think

The pain I would endure

To love but never have

Always wanting you more

But this is all just theory

Of course you are not dead

In fact I see you now

You're here inside my bed
