Vinegar, salty, bitter

Body so cold

The effects of rigor

No trace of mold

A good specimen

The right sized jar

And brine it's soaking in

Has brought it so far

Time to remove

Break the seal

I have so few

For tomorrow's meal

But, I've discovered I'm quite smitten

With the taste of pickled kitten
