Just a glimpse of you was enough

Everything was going wrong for me. Nothing was going right and it started to get on my nerves.

My dad left my mom,my little sister and me so he could live his life. He said that he got tired of us. To tell you the truth I didn't mind him leaving. What I did mind was that he left my mom feeling worthless like she was rubbish although she knows that it is not true. She is the best mom. She never stopped loving us and taking care of me and my 11 year old sister.

Another thing was that my mom has been unemployed for almost three years now when Greece is collapsing economically. All the mail that comes is just bills and bills and more bills.

As if this was not enough on the grounds that we moved three years ago I'm not able to see the boy that i've been in love with since 1st grade. I miss him but his image is still there deep in my mind and his eyes are and will always be in my heart.

Everyday I check out his Facebook account to see his photos. When I go to sleep I recall his voice from my memories and is like a soft lullaby that helps me sleep. Believe it or not I have not seen a nightmare ever since I met him. It's always colorful dreams.

So you can understand how shitty my life is at the moment. Since we moved everything has been going wrong!

At school everyone makes fun of me and the reason I still go is because I cannot bare to loose my friends.

Thank God I have my best friend Georgia. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't be myself anymore! She is like a sister to me and even though when we were younger we were like enemies now we can't do without one another.

Music is another reason that I still love my life. Paramore and Panic! At The Disco are my way to escape everyday life.

Anyway it was the day before that everything changed. Well it all changed for a moment and then it all became worst.

My English lesson had just finished and I walked with my friends-classmates outside of my English school. We were chatting and arranging plans when one of my classmates Sofia nudged me. At the time I was petting a dog named Lara. She is our schools mascot.

So I glance up to see what she wanted and that was when I saw him. I froze! I felt butterflies in my stomach and blood reaching my cheeks. When his eyes met mine I turned and looked away.

I made sure he was not looking at me when I smiled. Just a glimpse of him was enough to make my day which was later crushed when the ones that rented our old house decided to leave and it is in a bad condition right now.

Anyway I just hope that i'll get to see him again in a few days after English school and who knows maybe i'll talk to him who knows?
