The weirdest rhyme scheme i've ever done, it was written a while ago and i'd love any advice on how to improve it maybe?

Though life has passed
and you are gone
I do love you still
from way up here
up in the sky
nought will cause you ill.
For I will watch
you while you sleep
from your window sill
until my space with you
is gone. I'm sorry
I know it must fill.
I will stay up there
when you have found
the one who always will
love you just as I did.
But I will watch
from up here still
and keep you in my heart
for no one can
or ever will
fill your space with me.
