This is the prologue and sorry it's short. Hope you enjoy! Please read and review.

"Everybody must learn how to fly freely." Luna told us. Ellie, Charlie, James, and I exchanged curious glances at each other. "Look, everybody flies with the wind at the start. Look at us like baby birds. The wind, let's say, keeps us from falling, from falling downhill. When we fall downhill we will hit the bumpy road and our life would just get hit by a car. But, if we learn how to fly without the wind, we can leave the wind before it drops us and keep ourselves from falling. That's why we need to learn how to fly freely." Luna went on. Ellie, Charlie, and James understood what she meant. I just sat there staring at her as if she was a blank photograph. "Well, Luna is kind of absent minded." James whispered in my ear quietly so the girls don't hear. As the sun began to set we made our way down the hill into separate ways. To this day, I'm still trying to comprehend it.

I opened up my notebook while trying to sleep. I kept the notebook to keep track of events and people in my life.

Elliana "Ellie" Webster:

- Long light brown hair, blue eyes

- Smart, kind hearted, loyal, honest

- Connection: Best friend since 5, Crush 3

Luna Valentine:

- Long, wavy red velvet hair (previously dark brown), chocolate brown eyes

- Dyed hair red velvet to express herself and so she has no trace of her father (past unknown)

- Smart, clever, weird (in a good way), creative

- Connection: Best friend since 5

Charlotte "Charlie" Granger:

- Long, wavy blonde hair, blue eyes

- Fun, kind, clever, brave

- Connection: Best friend since 5

- Extra: Has hair up in pony tail, NEVER TOUCH IT!

James Thompson:

- Red hair, brown eyes

- Fun, funny, brave, witty

- Connection: Best friend since 4

Aubriella "Bri" Hart:

- Long, wavy brown hair, brown eyes

- Kind, loyal, gentle

- Connection: Little sister

I closed my notebook and began to think. Thinking about the Third Grade, thinking about Ellie, thinking about Luna, Charlie, and James, thinking about life. I then drifted off to sleep and felt my notebook slipping off my chest. It's falling! I jumped up and picked it up to find that Bri had written something on the last page.

Everett "Ev" Hart:

- Dark brown hair, hazel eyes

- Fun, kind hearted, brave, clever

I smiled at Bri's handwriting and placed the notebook in my backpack. Before I know it I'm dreaming.
