Dennis: Let's go!

It was at the middle of the night in San Diego; Dennis starts having telepathically nightmares about him running away from the blank, black darkness. He was sweating in his sleep and keeps moving from side to side of the bed.

Inside of his dream…

A voice boomed and Dennis was keep running away from it.

The voice boomed, "Dennis, I know where you are and you will step inside of a darkness."

Dennis commanded loudly and continues to run, "WHO ARE YOU?"

"Your previous dark Chosen One," the voice responded back.

"What?" Dennis was confused and then a pit of fire appeared below him and he was falling into it and he screamed.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" then he yelled outside and wake up from his sleep.

Then, Zarak approached to his room and alerted to ask him, "What is it? Who is attacking you?"

Dennis panted and he gripped onto his blanket, "It's only just a dream, just a dream."

"Okay, then this is your first nightmare, isn't it?" Zarak asked.

Dennis replied, "No, it's my 178th worst nightmare that I ever dreamt. I recorded that in m nightmare diary. The previous one is seeing Kyle's butt in my dream."

Zarak snickered and walked back to sleep, "Okay, I'm gonna tell that to Kyle tomorrow."

"Whatever," Dennis returned back to sleep and also, he didn't care about his previous nightmare.

-Line Break-

In the first early morning of a Winter School Break, Dennis and Katelyn both yawn and they are the first one to get up in the morning. The parents come after them and Zarak is too lazy to get up to eat breakfast.

Dennis waited for his parents to get up to prepare breakfast for Katelyn and Dennis. Katelyn was tired of waiting, so she fills up a bucket of water from the kitchen sink. Dennis knows what is she's going to do: Pour water on sleepy adults. The bucket of water is now full and Katelyn brought it up to the stairs carefully, then to the room. When she got there, Katelyn pours it immediately without laughing or snickering.

Sora yelled and stood up, "AHH! I BEEN WASHED OUT BY A TSNAMI!"

"WHY AM I DROWNING?" Ming stood up in surprise and feeling wetness on her bed too.

Katelyn smiled, "Happy morning dad and mom. Also, I pour water on you the 5th time again."

Min groaned in frustration, "Augh, I hate mornings. Katelyn, if we ever overslept, just make breakfast by your self without our permission. Also, feed Zarak dog food, because he keeps eating food from the garbage."

Katelyn nodded, "Okay," she walked back out of the room, sown the stairs, and back into the kitchen.

Dennis asked, "Are they coming?"

"No but, if they ever overslept, we have to make our own breakfast," Katelyn answered.

"Awww, I don't know how to cook my favorite breakfast, egg sandwich," Dennis moaned for wanting his favorite breakfast.

Then Zarak twitched his ears and ran down the stairs and arrive in the front of the kitchen in the military position like hand crossed on the forehead, "I'm ready to cook Captain, sir."

"Zarak, do you know how to cook?" Katelyn asked.

"Yeah, I do know how to cook and you're not going to eat earthlings food anymore, you're gonna try this new breakfast food call Rainbow Berry Jelly Sandwich," Zarak responded back happily.

"Awesomeness," Dennis commented and asked, "So, did you get the berries?"

"Yeah, I got it since yesterday night. Also, I distracted Ming and Sora by letting them watching a scary movie called Tsunami the Third," Zarak chuckled a little.

Katelyn snapped her finger, "So that's why they screamed out of their dreams. Also, are you going to make the sandwich now or are you going to talk?"

Zarak moved his legs and he said, "Fine, don't keep asking me." Then,, he ran into the living room to find the fresh rainbow berries behind the couch and they were clean. Zarak took them out in the kitchen quickly. Next, speedy preparation, then cooking the berries into the saucer, and toast the bread, lastly, the toast is done, Zarak get them out of the toaster and the rainbow berries have turned into rainbow jelly. Zarak uses the knife to put the jelly and the toast together and put them on the plate. Viola! The Rainbow Berry Jelly Sandwich is done, also he slipped a hot pepper on one of the sandwich for Dennis only.

Zarak bows down, "Now, you may taste my masterpiece."

"Okay, Zarak I'm going to try your masterpiece and see if you're a good pet to me," Dennis picked up the sandwich without a hot pepper and suddenly, Zarak got worried.

Zarak asked Dennis in the worried tone, "Uh Dennis, thast sandwich is for Katelyn."

Dennis took a bite and he gulped down, "Okay, this sandwich is good and you may not be such a bad pet after all.

Katelyn took a sandwich and Zarak got even more worried.

Zarak shouted, "No Katelyn!"

"What?" she took a bite out of it and then she realizes that Zarak was trying to tell.

Zarak hides behind his paws and he said, "I put hot peppers in that sandwich."

Katelyn's face turned red and then her mouth opened and she panted, "HOT! SPICY! NEED WATER!"

Dennis glared at Zarak, "I know what you're trying to do. You were trying to put hot pepper in my sandwich so I can suffer from spicy tongue."

Zarak wasn't smiling and spoke out the truth, "Yeah, you got me right and you didn't fall for it."

Katelyn continues to pant and turns on the sink for water. She puts her mouth into the sink nozzle and turned on the sink faucet. Katelyn feels rehydrated again and signed in coolness of water, "Ahh. That is just relaxing."

"Katelyn, you know there might be lead in the faucet or maybe germs," Dennis warned her.

Katelyn spits out the water into the sink and grossed in disgust, "Blagh! You will promise not to tell mom or dad about this and even our friends too."

Dennis rolled his eyes, "Okay, fine I won't tell on you on anybody for this."

Katelyn nodded seriously, "Good."

Zarak asked, "So where are we going?"

"To Kyle's house today and we're not seeing my girlfriend and Laura because they're in Vietnam or China maybe," Dennis answered.

Zarak nodded, "Okay. Also, I heard that there is a concert in Foxwood High School. It's like a talent show for today."

Katelyn asked, "Didn't you see the flyers before we went on winter break, Dennis?"

"No I haven't yet, but I'm going to stay in the shadow like the ninjas," Dennis replied to her back.

"Okay, what makes you not wanna come?" Katelyn asked.

Then Dennis flashback the day that Team Kazami blocked him from seeing the talent shows paper. He saw Zack was freaking out and crumbled the papers out and threw it in the garbage for no good reasons. Next, Dennis saw Marissa and Trisha threw the big poster into the garbage and Marissa told him to stay back harshly.

Dennis turned back to reality and he said, "Okay, I remember Team Kazami blocked me and threw papers out into the garbage and I don't know what they're preventing me."

Zarak and Katelyn both blurted the answers, "Preventing you seeing or entering the talent show."

"Oh, I thought they just threw the old papers out in the garbage," Dennis thought.

Suddenly, Kyle invisibly came though the ceiling and whisper to Dennis behind his ears, "Boo!"

Dennis shrieked, "Ahh!"

Then, Kyle appeared in his ghost form and turns visible, "Ha! Got you!"

Then, Dennis turned around to him, "Geez Kyle, you almost scared me to death."

"Yeah and WHAT TAKES YOU SO LONG TO GET TO MY HOUSE. I SIGNED UP FOR THE MAGICIAN TRICKS WITH ZARAK AND KATELYN!" Kyle yelled in questions to Dennis.

Dennis ignored, "What? I can't hear you because you hurt my ears." He turned his back on him.

"Did I hurt his ears or is he just ignoring me because I was disrespectful?" Kylr asked.

"I think its ignorance," Zarak said, "But let's practice our talent show tricks in front of Dennis' house. Practice makes perfect."

Katelyn added, "ALSO, I'm the magician's assistance this time because I'm a lady."

Kyle also added to Dennis, "The leader of Team Yin Yang must watch us."

This time Dennis didn't ignore him, so he turned his back around to him, "HEY! Why do I have to be the audience?"

"Because you did not enter the contest and your miss the flyers," Kyle said, "Matthew taught a lot of magic tricks and I think I can make it possible because he just revealed the magician's secrets only to me."

"Oh my god, Kyle," Dennis face palmed, "What is wrong with you people?"

Zarak, Kyle, and Katelyn ended their conversation with Dennis and they went outside to practice their magic acts for the talent show. Denis didn't even bother them and goes to his room and write a diary entry about his nightmare that he dreamt yesterday. The diary is the black marble notebook because no one notices that notebook could be a diary.

-Line Break-

At night in the school auditorium of Foxwood High, the audience was gathering around in the seats and waiting for their sons or daughters playing at the talent show. Dennis and his parents were in the audience and waiting for the show to start.

Then the principal of the school came up to the microphone and he announced, "Good Evenings people, today we are seeing the talents that got the skills of something good. Also, seeing some music to be heard, magic acts, dancing, acting, jokester, comedian, and other those kinds of stuff. So first off, we have a puppet talent who is comedian, step right off for Charlie Blake."

Charlie Blake came to the stage with his puppet, "Hi everyone, my name is Charlie and who are you Mr. Puppet?"

"I'm Mr. Stupid, one of the stupidest puppet in the world," the puppet said by Charlie. The jokes are starting bore the audience and even Dennis too.

As time passes by, they finally got down to Kyle, Zarak, and Katelyn.

"Next, we have Kyle, the magician and Katelyn the assistance, along with a buddy named Zarak," the principal announces the next people on the list.

Katelyn and Kyle came to the stage and gave tons of kisses to the audience, Zarak is still hiding somewhere nearby Kyle. Dennis and his parents got their attention and they are watching them.

Kyle announced, "First, we have to get our buddy out of the hat first." Then, he takes otf his hat and pulled Zarak's top front hair, "Ta-da!" Zarak jumped out and bows down to the audience.

The audience clapped.

Katelyn announced, "Also, we're going to give the wand to Kyle." Katelyn handed Kyle the wand, but it broke when Kyle touches it.

"Katelyn, did you break the wand?" Kyle asked.

"No I didn't let me see if I can hold it well," Katelyn takes back the wand and it did not do anything, it keeps the wand straight.

Kyle signed, "Ah, you fixed it." He takes the wand out of Katelyn's hand and it broke AGAIN. Kyle face palmed, "What is wrong with me? Does the wand hate me?"

The audience laughed and even Dennis too.

The magic act continues to the very end. Katelyn, Zarak, and Kyle ended by their disappearance. The audience cheered loudly and the principal told them to settle down.

Kyle, Katelyn, and Zarak were in the backstage and it was the illusion of Zarak's works.

Kyle high paw him, "High paw me."

Zarak grinned widely, "Thanks Kyle and also the credit belongs to every one of us."

Katelyn asked in wonder, "I wonder if Dad, Mom, and Dennis like out magic act."

Then the principal announces the last one of the entries, "Lastly, we have a band and they are not really one of us, but they came from nowhere nearby the school district. Give it up for Nefaria Riley, Cody Dalton, and Reuben Bryes."

The three people appeared in front of the stage. Cody got his guitars and Reuben goes to his drum set to get ready to rock. The principle gave Nefaria the microphone because she is going to sing.

"Thank you for coming to this warm evening of this talent show. I am Whisper from Evanescence, our favorite song from the Fallen Album. Also, I sing this song to give somebody the message here," Nefaria introduced to the audience.

Dennis heard the word Nefaria and he examined her and it looks like the Nefaira from the Dark Angels, "Hmm, could that be Nefaria from Dark Heaven from Mystical Island. No one had the name Nefaria here today because the word is so old."

Cody and Reuben start their instruments and they picking up the sound and remembering what they heard from the music.

Nefaria starts to sing, "Catch me as I fall, say here and it's all over now," then she turned around and raised her right hand, "Speaking to the atmosphere, No one's here I fallen into myself." Then she raised her voice, "This truth drives me, into madness."

Dennis quickly thought in his mind, "It sounds like Nefaria."

Nefaria continues to sing, "Don't turn away"

Cody and Reubem sing the next verse, "Don't give in to the pain"

Nefaira: "Don't to hide"

Cody and Reuben: "Through they're screaming your name"

Nefaira: "Don't close eyes"

Nefaiaa: "God knows what lies behind them"

Nefaria: "Don't turn out the light"

Cody and Reuben: "Never sleep, never die"

Katelyn whispered to Kyle, "Do they look very familiar to you?"

"I think so, did I see them before or not?" Kyle questioned.

Zarak sniffed and caught this familiar scent, "Guys, I think this is the Dark Angels."

"What?" Katelyn and Kyle said in unison.

"Come on, dark music and Nefaria? Those are the angels that go after Dennis," Zarak said.

Katelyn asked, "What do you think that they will do this time now?"

Next, Cody sings this verse, "Fallen Angels at my feet, Whispered voices at my ear, Death before my eyes, Lying next to me I fear, she beckons me shall I give in, Upon my end shall I begin, Forsaking all I've fallen for I rise meet the end…."

Then, the music struck again and Nefaia looks up to the audience.

Nefaria sings back to the same verse for 2 times and they boys start singing in Latin like this, "Servatis a periculum, servatis a maleficum" in three times.

The song ended and the audience stood up and clapped for them. The principal ended his final greetings and telling how wonderful is that talent show is. He said goodbye and the audience leaves their seat and looking for their kids and teens. Kids and Teens return to their parents and they went home, except for the band and Dennis' family.

Dennis' parents were waiting for Kyle and Katelyn. Kyle packed up his magician case and he is ready to got. Katelyn needs to go to the bathrooms. Zarak went to find Dennis and he has report about the Dark Angels.

Zarak nibbled on Dennis' legs and Dennis lowered down to his level. Dennis asked, "What's wrong?'

"The Dark Angels are back. I seen those familiar faces before," Zarak reported to him calmly.

"They're here and about the song. I think they were trying to tell me something," Dennis thought into the ceiling.

Suddenly, Nefaria pokes Dennis' shoulders and Dennis shrieked and turned back, "Nefaria?"

"That's right," then Nefaria moves her mouth closer to his ears and whisper, "Dennis, we need help from danger and evil."

Dennis signed and rolled his eyes, "No way, you're evil and you're the darkness. What do you want me to do? Join you and turn evil or not? Also, what happened to your wings?"

Nefaria clenched her teeth, "I put my wings away because we angels can do that. Also, we are not here to capture you. We are here to protect you from a really evil person and demons."

"Demons? Are they like super evil then any other evil creatures?" Dennis asked.

"Yes. Also, the Mystical Guardians officially said that the Angel of Darkness now on must protect all good dark creatures like Zarak for example," Nefaria replied.

"Okay, can we talk about this tomorrow and yesterday I had a nightmare about falling into the darkness and somebody knows me and they said that they are my previous dark chosen one," Dennis finally said.

Nefaria gasped, "Kevin! He did this to you telepathically."

"Who's Kevin?" Dennis questioned.

Sora called, "Dennis, we're going home by Dakini. Hurry up!"

"Coming!" Dennis called back and he turned back to Nefaria, "See you tomorrow, we'll talk about this." He leaves Nefaria there and exited out of the auditorium and hopped onto Dakini's back and rides back home.

Nefaira, Cody, and Reuben activate their wings back and intangibly flew out of the auditorium. Cody and Reuben went back home in Dark Heaven, except Nefaria because she on a duty to protect Dennis and she followed Dakini behind them.

When Dennis and the other arrive back home, Dakini returns back to Mystical Island after dropping them off. Kyle is too lazy to return home, so he sleepover with Dennis for another night. Dennis' parents quickly got tired and they got to sleep. Katelyn and Zarak went to bed after they yawned together. Dennis sleeps on his own bed and begins to sleep soundly very quietly. Nefaria was next to Dennis and watching him invisibly in the dark.
