Chapter 3

Earlier that day with Alex...

Alex had picked Olivia up around 12 as he promised. From there he had taken her to the movies to see 'Woman in Black' they both knew the story well as they had had to study the play at GCSE Drama, but it still made them jump every single time.

In an attempt to recreate their first date he took her to 'Chilango's'. Her favourite restraunt from home.

"Oh Alex, this is amazing." She said as he took her hand and lead her onto the dancefloor and 'Dirty Dancing's' 'Time of My Life' began to play and he led her through the steps. They didn't attempt the lift fully but he sang the lyrics in a whisper to her.

After their meal they walked hand in hand around the streets, ending up in Trafaglar Square. It was around 10pm now and very dark.

After more walking they found themselves in a small family-run buissness. It was a large outside garden with picknick mats set out for Valentines day. He had pre-orderd chocolate dipped strawberries, and they fed them to one another as she lay with her head in his lap and watched the stars. She sat up as they shared the last one and he held her hands. He stared deeply into her eyes and pulled something out of his pocket.

"Olivia, I want to ask you something. I'm 17, and you're 16, I don't want to get married too young, but will you wear this as a promise, to someday be mine?"

She looked into his eye and whispered "yes" before he kissed her deeply, sliding the ring on the correct finger on her right hand. As he pullled away she said "I love you Alex."

"I love you too."

And that was all she needed to know.
