In a world where there are 3 moons it was the 29th of February and in a small town a child was born directly at midnight and once more it was during a lunar eclipse. Once the child was born his parent's where very worried. They knew that if a child was born a demon then the town would kill them. So they hoped that when he opened his eyes they would not be slit. If a child has slit eyes then they are a demon because that is what shows that they are demons but a child is not always born a demon so the parents prayed he was not one. However when he opened his eyes and to their despair he had slit eyes. They panicked and worried that the nurses would kill him but they did not. Instead one of them said that just because he was a demon did not mean he would be a bad one so she gave the child to the parents and wished them luck in raising a friendly demon. They knew it would not be hard but they still worried because sometimes a demon child will turn bad even if they are friendly.

For 13 years they raised the boy very well. He was probably the nicest person the town ever meet but no one knew he was a demon because he would wear sunglasses are a hood to hide his eyes. But then one day he forgot to wear one and at first no one noticed but when he was walking around a child went up to him and yelled.

"Mister. Why do you have cat eyes?" And he said it very loudly to where everyone heard. Then everyone literally dropped what they were holding and looked towards the boy. They all got very surprised and scared. They couldn't believe the boy was a demon. One of the people in the crowd then went up to him for a closer look. That person then went white with fear but he still asked the boy.

"Boy. When where you born?" He asked shaking with fear because if he was born just at night then the town didn't have to worry too much because those kinds of demons are very weak.

"29th of February." The boy answered.

"And at what time." The man said very worried about this answer.

The boy then answered in a calm voice. "At midnight during a lunar eclipse." That one sentence scared everyone in the crowded because he turned out to be one of the most powerful demons there are.

Then out of nowhere one of the towns folk yelled "kill him!" The boy was scared by that and started running away. Mostly everyone in the crowd started chasing him wanting to kill him. The boy kept yelling for help and kept asking why they wanted to kill him. Finally the boy got tired and stopped and then he got surrounded by the people. Everyone was crying which really confused the boy.

"Why do you want to kill me?" The boy asked.

"Because you are a demon." One of the people said very frightened.

"So. Aren't I also your friend?"

"Maybe but a demon especially at your level can lose it and kill everyone here."

"I wouldn't do that." The boy cried.

"Sorry but we can't take that chance. You might become dangerous one day and we cannot risk that because we are a very small town and if you killed us you would kill everyone."

"I promise I won't do that. Please believe me." The boy continued to cry.

"I am sorry boy." They man said while being handed an ax. "I hope you understand." He brought the ax above his head but before he could kill the boy a female voice was heard.

"Don't kill that boy!" The voice said.

"Who is that?" The man asked while slowly bringing the ax down.

"Me." Said the voice coming out of the crowd. To the boy's joy it was the nurse who would often watch over him, while his parent where out, back when he was small. And also to his joy there were his parents' right beside her.

"Why shouldn't I kill him?" Said the man very angrily.

"Because he doesn't deserve it. That boy it the friendliest person in this town and you want to kill him?"

"But he is a demon he might kill us all one day."

"Maybe but that's only a "maybe". I think he won't kill us because he is too nice. I don't even think he can kill a fly. So why kill him for something he might not do."

"Well…" the man couldn't answers. He dropped to his knees and even though he almost killed him, the boy went up to him trying to see if he is ok. The man looked at the boy and started crying. He was scared of what might happen but he didn't want to kill this nice boy. He thought for awhile and then he thought of something. He got up and said "I know. How about he just leaves this town."

Everyone in the crowd were shocked by this sudden statement especially the parents.

"What are you saying?" The mother asked in a panicked voice.

"I am saying that instead of killing him how about he leaves."

"That's crazy. This boy is only 13 years old. I will not let my child live on his own." The mother said starting to cry.

"If he doesn't leave he might kill us all one day. But if he does this then he can live and we all will be safe." The man explained.

"Still he is 13! He cannot live on his own!" The mother started to cry harder. She then dropped to the ground. The boy thought for a second then went up to his mother.

"Mom." The boy said innocently. The mother looked into his eyes. "I will go." The boy said.

"But…" the mother began very shocked that the boy actually said that.

"It's ok mom. If it will make everyone happy I will leave."

"But you're my boy. I can't let you go yet." She cried.

"I will be fine mom." The boy said while giving his mother a smile. The mother then started to cry very hard and she even dropped her head. The boy then tried to comfort her by patting her on the head and then said in a calm voice. "I promise I will be alright."

The next day he packed his things plus a few necessities like a map which his mother gave him. Then before he left the mother kissed him on the cheek and then his mother and father said they loved him and wished him luck in the world. Once he left they hoped that the place he was going is not like their town and killing every demon that they come across.

The boy ended up traveling on his own going from town to town. Most of the towns would let him stay for awhile but not forever because he was a demon. And others chased him out of their town right away and after 2 years he finally came across a place he liked. He didn't know if this place would accept him but he took the chance. He then walked into the city and started looking around and hoped he would be able to stay this time.
