"The differences in levels? Well at least that is somewhat of a good question." Dillon said giving a sigh. That comment however annoyed Gale a bit but he just wanted to hear the differences right now so he got over it very quickly. "Well first off level 1's and 2's of both magical children and demons are normally very weak. When they use a spell or to many spells they will get very tired very fast. You can tell if they are a level 1 or 2 by their groups. You see because they get tired quicker they are normally in groups of 4 or 5…" Dillon was then interrupted by Gale.

"Does that mean the 2 people that attacked me were levels 1 or 2?" Gale asked bluntly.

He thought for a moment then said "that is very possible. But sense there were only 2 that attacked you 1 bet there were more watching you." Dillon explained.

"Ok so I get way demons would be in groups but why magical children?" Gale asked again very bluntly.

"Magical children are in group to increase their magic as well. For them even if they tried a simply spell they will get tired but if they are in a group then one can do the magic and the others can help."

"Ok I get it. So what about the rest of the levels?" Gale said.

"Ok well level 3's are a bit stronger. They can be alone or in a small group for both magical children and demons. For demons they can be a group leader or even something worse but magical children they are normally helpers. They tend to help anybody that needs it. I am not saying all are like that but most of them are." He continued to explain.

"So level 3's are save right?" Gale asked while thinking of a level 3 demon.

"For magical children yes but for demons more than often no. If you get on the bad side of a level 3 demon you can be attacked by many level 1's and 2's."

"But didn't you say level 1's and 2's are weak?" Gale asked confused.

"They are but if there are enough of them then they can be a lot of trouble. In that situation it's almost like getting rid of many pests in a house because once you get rid of one there can be many more coming so in short they are still dangerous. Ok?"

"Ok. I think." He said not fully getting it but he got enough if it to continue. "So now what about levels 4's?"

"Level 4's are much better at magic. They don't get tired as fast as levels 1, 2, and 3's. Magical children are very often by themselves and will try to help everyone that is in trouble. They are strong, smart, and most of very kind. They are…" he was then interrupted again.

"Sorry but are you tried to describe yourself?" Chance said calmly causing Dillon to stop talking and then got very mad.

"No! Now be quiet demon!" Dillon yelled startling Chance a bit.

"As I was saying level 4's are stronger but sadly for demons, that is also a level were a demon as a demon form."

"What is a demon form?" Chance asked just as confused as Gale.

"You should know! You're demon!" Dillon yelled again.

Chance was a bit scared and embarrassed but he said very quietly "sorry but I don't know."

Dillon got annoyed and said "man you are a pathetic demon. Ok look a demon form is a stronger form of a level 4 or higher demon. If a demon goes into its demon form their strength almost doubles. If they turn into their demon form do to anger then they will lose control and attack everything in their sight."

"You said if they get mad." Gale interrupted. "Does that mean that they can go into their demon form without getting mad and losing control?"

"Yes it is possible but very improbably. Most demons do not have the will power to control it so a demon in their demon form is very dangerous." Dillon said and a voice that sounded like he was warning him.

"So that's why no one likes me." Chance said very depressed.

"Its fine Chance as long as you're not mad everything will be fine so don't worry because this is normally a very friendly city." Gale said trying to calm Chance down. It seemed to work but then Dillon started talking again.

"Gale you need to get out more. How can you say that when you're not sure?" This statement caused Chance to get depressed again.

Gale looked at his depression and said "I may not know for sure but a think that as long as he has a friend it will be fine." Chance at that point got a bit happier but he was still a bit sad.

"If you say so. Anyway no to level 5's. Level 5's are very strong. They rarely get tired after using spells. For magical children they can be a lot of help if you can befriend one but you need to be careful of level 5 demons. Level 5 demons often can use forbidden spells. Dillon then got interrupted again.

"What is a forbidden spell?" Gale asked.

Dillon was very hesitant with answering because Chance was there but somehow he felt it would be fine so he answered "a forbidden spell is a spell that can do major damage to anything. A forbidden spell is almost as bad as a demon in there demon form but unlike a demon in there demon form you can find a way to stop a forbidden spell. Normally it is very hard but it is possible. Now all forbidden spells are bad so if a magical child does it more than often it will not work because forbidden spells are dark magic." He said again in a way that sounded like a warning.

"Ok I get that so what is dark magic?" Gale asked.

"There are 2 types of magic light and dark. Levels 1- 4 spells normally can be neither but level 5 and 6 spells can be separated to these 2. Dark magic is very destructive and are always used for attacking. Now for light spells they are almost always used for protection. Light magic is very good magic but it is also hard to do if you are not a level 5 or 6. However for these spells there are 2 spells that are exceptions because they can be used by all levels. The light spell of healing where the higher the level the better it is and the dark spell drain where is can drain anyone's strength even a demon in there demon form. Take note if a demon does a light spell it will drain them very quickly so they might collapse if they tried and it's the same thing for magical child with dark magic. Light magic is for magical children and dark magic is for demons ONLY." He tried to make that last sentence very clear to the both of them.

"Ok so stick to what spells you can do and say away from the others." Gale said trying to see if he got it.

"That is correct." Dillon said proud of himself for being able to describe it to the point even Gale could understand.

"Ok now lastly are level 6's?" Gale said.

"There really is nothing to describe anymore but in short a level 6 can do all spells easily without getting tired. Also they are the strongest of all. If you have a level 6 friend or anything you have a guaranteed protection because that are so strong but if you are so unlucky to came across a level 6 demon you might not make it back alive." That one sentence at the end caused Chance to get very depressed again.

Now that he knew all this stuff he had doubts of staying there and even considered leaving but before he could Gale notice how depressed Chance was and said "like a said don't worry. I am sure everything will be fine and I promise that if you do go to your demon form, which I seriously doubt, I will try and stop you. Ok?" He gave Chance a friendly smile and Chance said "ok." Very quietly.

"Ok well that should be everything except for the birthdays of each level but that is not really important. So Chance now that you know what you are a hope you…" he couldn't finish his sentence because they heard a big bang from the front yard and Chance got a bit scared by it. Once they heard it Dillon and Gale ran to the front yard and found the 2 guys that attacked Gale a few days ago but this time there were not alone. There were many more people will them this time.

"Ok to you were right about being watched." Gale said sarcastically to Dillon.

"Your right but right now I wish I wasn't right." Dillon said a bit worried now because of how many there were. "And now I also wish you didn't live in an area where there are hardly any houses."

"Sorry." Gale said sarcastically again.
