A/N: All right, so I actually wrote this based on my love of darkness, nighttime and neon things that glow in the dark! I just thought it would be cool if this type of butterfly actually existed.

Now people, this is my VERY FIRST serious attempt at a poem in my ENTIRE life. So please be kind! In my opinion, it turned out quite nice. But that's just me, so…. REVIEW! Please?

Now, on with the show!

Electric Butterfly Night

Where the electric butterflies flutter,

After the sun has gone down,

When all the land is dark,

While the shining stars come out,

I stand to watch the butterflies that never fly in the light.

They come in shades of color I've never seen before,

Neon shades of green, blue, and orange to hypnotize me,

Along with a deep purple and a bright, lovely pink,

Their colors glow like electricity in the dark of the night,

So that it looks as though they've blossomed out of an electric rainbow.

And if I stand ever so still,

While one of them is fluttering near,

I might just see by the moonlight,

As it floats closer and closer upon delicate glowing wings,

To land softly like a feather on my little finger.

Remember…. REVIEW!
