Chapter One Return of the Darkness

(Skipping the theme song)

It was in the dark heaven's jail or prison, at night, Kevin silently breaks out of jail by using silent flame. He carefully sneaks out of the prison and Devin too. Devin and Kevin both quickly escaped from the prison and they both flew down to the soft surface of Mystical Island.

Kevin signed in relief, "That was close, the Dark Angels are not smart enough to watch me in prison."

"Yeah and I have to say something right now," Devin panted for breath.

"What?" Kevin asked.

"I don't want to work with you anymore since I got tired of you bossing me around. Also, it was nice with you in the past before we both turn into demons, now I'm going back to the Underworld to rest there and good bye," Devin ran away from him and he left without a tears on his face or emotion neither.

Kevin was depressed and he flew away in his demon form to fly somewhere else. He thought of something to himself and don't know what to do, "What should I do right now?"

Then he flashed back.

Then Devin heard Kevin's voice and he gasped in surprise, "I can hear!"

Dakini smirked and he said, "It's only temporarily and the angels have beaten the demons. Game over."

Nefaria added, "Surrender here now and we'll lock you somewhere safe that you'll hate."

Kevin held out his hands in surrender and he got nothing else to do, "Fine, Devin and I surrender and take me somewhere to give myself a punishment. But don't forget Dennis, I will be back to haunt you."

Dennis rolled his eyes around and he really didn't even care.

Kevin said to himself, "Dennis, of coarse. I can telepathically give him nightmares right now and still, it's night time."

-Line Break-

In San Diego at Dennis' room, Dennis' nightmares telepathically emerged. The dreams take place in the cafeteria in school and Clara was about to say something, but someone interrupted his dreams.

"Clara!" Dennis saw Kevin captured Clara.

Kevin appeared and sucks Clara into the black hole, screaming out loud for Dennis, and the black hole disappeared after she got into it. Kevin evilly smirked at Dennis and he said, "I have escaped from the dark heaven prison and now, I'm gonna haunt you forever until I find you."

"Kevin! How did you get out of there?" growled Dennis.

"Easy and simple. I used my Silent Flame to melt the bars and escape out of prison with Devin, but my pet has left and just only you and me," Kevin replied.

"Why did you come here for?" Dennis demanded for an answer.

"I come here to take over your minds and also, continue to reign the darkness to the world with vengeance from you," Kevin whispered the last word and he disappeared.

Dennis was still not smiling and he wants to get out of here in this dream. Dennis keeps asking to himself, "Why does everybody want to use me for evil and darkness." He remembered Kevin, the Ghost Guardians, and Dark Angels that used to take him, but not anymore.

He exits out of his dreams and woke up in the morning at 7:00 AM in the morning.

Dennis yawned and he quickly gasped, "Oh no, Kevin's back. Got to warn the others."

-Line break to Amity Park-

The Guy in Whites have some trouble beating Vlad, but Vlad keeps dodging it to open Freakshow's cell. It takes a half an hour to beat all of the Guys in White with little by little with ectoplasmic shot. Vlad signed in relief and he quickly goes by the supercomputer to free Freakshow again.

Freakshow gasped, "What? They're letting me free?"

Vlad quickly flew over to Freakshow's cell and he answered, "No, I'm the one who freed you. Now, I want to find an ancient ghost artifacts to get my hands on Danny."

"Danny? Ah, that ghost boy. So, the ghost staff is destroyed and what's next? Do you have the book?" Freakshow replied.

Vlad took out the book from his butt, where he keeps the book because he got no pockets to keep it safe. Vlad handed to him and he asked, "So, what's the next artifact that can control all ghosts?"

Freakshow opened the book and skip a couple of pages until, he found another artifact that controls ghosts, "There, the Ghost Crown. I'll read it out loud."

"The Ghost Crown is used for to control ghosts as servants or slaves. Also, Prince Anthony once wore it and he was taken over by the Ghost Guardians. The Ghost Guardians-"

Vlad halted him, "Stop right there, the Ghost Crown is used for to control ghosts? Is there is another staff, staff looks better."

Freakshow groaned, "Fine, I'll find another one." He flipped a couple of pages over and he found another staff that is dark and devilish with devil's eyes, "Ah, the devil ghost staff."

He read aloud, "It is located in the Ghost Zone at the Forbidden Zone and locked away safety for the safety of humans and ghosts. The staff can be used by anyone and even demons too. Also, the staff will not have effects on any angels or powerful, strong develop ghosts."

"Hmm, it looks like we have to work together to fetch it," Vlad seems interested.

"Great and to the PORTAL!" Freakshow closes the book and asked, "So, how are you going to take me to the Ghopst Zone, hmm?"

"I will hold you by your wrists and I will lead you to the Fenton Portal and the Forbidden Zone is very nearby Skulker's Island and the portal is RED," Vlad replied.

"Good and now let's go!" Freakshow and Vlad intangibly flew out of the GIW secret government lab and going to the Fenton's home.

As they pass through the Fenton's home, Danny, Jazz, or his parents didn't suspect a single thing and Vlad and Freakshow have finally made it to the portal.

Vlad gulped and he said, "Okay, we'll do this together and let's find that new staff that looks like a devil." Vlad holds onto the Freakshow's wrists and begins to find the Devil Staff in the Ghost Zone.

-Line Break-

Dennis and the members of Team Yin Yang made it to their tree house headquarter in the forest before school starts and it just a quick meeting.

Dennis cleared his throat and explained, "Alright, Kevin is back and he is going to get me ANYTIME!"

"Kevin?" Kyle and Katelyn gasped.

Clara and Laura both asked, "Who's Kevin?"

"You were not there at that time Clara and Laura, I was once controlled by him. Nefaria and I defeated him and also, you may not know that Nefaria is my dark guardian angel."

"Whoa, that's gotta hurt Clara," Kyle pinched his words.

"Not really mad and also, will she be back and to help us?" Clara asked.

"Don't know, but keep any eye out for Kevin in school, public, or anywhere. Got it?" Dennis replied all to his team members and they all nodded to him.

Dennis quickly leaves, "Dismiss." After Dennis is out of the tree house, everyone else dismiss to school.

-Line Break-

While at Foxwood High in math class, Dennis and his classmates sat down to wait for their teacher to come in.

When the teacher comes in, who is Mr. Butler, he announced, "Good morning class, today we are going to learn the translation and the dilation on the graph."

All of the students groaned and a lot of them were completely tired.

As Mr. Butler teaches the students, suddenly, Dennis saw visions of Kevin in his classroom. Dennis growled and the visions Kevin said, "I will come back and haunt you."

Dennis stood up in the middle of the lesson and yelled, "STOP IT!"

Mr. Butler quickly turned to Dennis and he shouted, "Dennis, what's the matter with you?"

Zack chuckled, "Do you know what? Dennis daydreams in class."

All of the students laughed with Zack and made fun of Dennis. Dennis was really embarrassed and he sat down.

Mr. Butler calmed the classroom down and continues with the lesson, "Now, the translation is to slide anywhere on the graph with exact shape and side-"

Then Dennis blurted and Mr. Butler can't finish it, "STOP IT KEVIN!"

Mr. Butler growled and he stormed to Dennis' desk he said, "Ninja or not. You have to take the lesson of this coarse or you'll never pass this class. Your grades are good, but you may not remember or focusing on task."

"I know Mr. Butler, but I'm starting to have weird visions." Dennis replied.

"Fine, if you have something wrong with your brains and visions, IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD," replied Mr. Butler.

Dennis scratches his head and he replied, "Then, why it is in my head?"

"JUST GET BACK TO WORK!" My. Butler yelled at him and Dennis looked down and looks at his work and remains in the classroom for the whole period.

-Line Break-

At lunchtime, Dennis and Clara sat at the empty lunch table and talking about something that is really important.

Dennis asked her, "Do you see Kevin today?"

"Not really, how about you?" Clara asked.

"I'm starting to see visions everywhere about Kevin. I want it to stop," Dennis replied.

"Alright, I'll look on the checkout," Clara replied and Dennis smiled.

Next, someone threw food at Dennis' right and it was William, the fat kid, "FOOD FIGHT!" Everyone in the cafeteria starts fighting at each other and the teachers tried to stop them.

Dennis wiped his face and saw another food incoming at him and he dodges. Clara dodges all of the food and went under the table. Clara whispered to Dennis, "Dennis, go under the table."

Dennis did not hear her and it was the noise level of the cafeteria. Suddenly, Dennis focuses his eyes on William and then it turned into Kevin. Dennis growled and he charges at his illusion of Kevin, which turns out to be William. William saw Dennis charging at him and Dennis tackles him. The scene was horrible and not even the high schoolers want to see this. Clara gets out of under of the table and stopped Dennis. William's beatings were terrible and he broke a few bones in his right fingers.

William tried holding his pain in his fingers and he moaned, "Ow Dennis, you stepped on my fingers really badly. I'm telling the principal."

Dennis' visions became back to normal and he gasped, "William? I thought you were-"

Everyone surrounded William and Dennis and they were murmuring about them.

The principal came into the center and he gasped, "What the heck is going on here with the cafeteria?"

Dennis and William both looked up and William told, "Dennis, punches, steps on me, and kicking on me."

Dennis tried to defend, "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else in my dreams and of coarse, you started the fight."

The principal asked, "What did Dennis hurt you for and how many times that I have to tell you, no more food fights."

William replied and tried not to cry from the pain, "Dennis crushed my bone fingers and I can't write with my right hand anymore."

The principal demanded, "Both of you, come to the office."

Dennis and William both got up and walked with the principal to the office.

Once they got to the office, the principal signed and he said to William first, "William, you are suspended for two days for another food fight." Then he turned to Dennis, "Dennis, you are suspended for 6 days for hurting William and now both of you will remain in the office for the whole day. I'll call home and you will get in trouble."

Dennis and William both signed in depress and William was sent to the nurse office for casting up his fingers. The principal called home and both of the parents were mad and angry with their child.

-Line Break-

The school was over and Dennis' parents were both in front of the house and Dennis saw them and he looked down to the ground.

Ming said to Dennis very angrily, "You should have been ashamed of yourself."

Sora added, "Also, why did you hurt that kid from school?"

Dennis looked up to them and he replied, "I'm starting to have visions of my enemy and he's back to come and get me."

Sora replied, "Don't be ridiculous and the enemy is locked away already."

"But he's back from the prison and he communicate with me through telepathy," Dennis complained.

Ming asked, "What did he really say to you?"

Dennis signed, "You don't want to know and I'm off to my room." He looked down and walked to his room very quietly and shuts the door. Dennis' parents both shrugged and they went to the living room to do some chores around the house.

Ming then remembers something when she looked at the news and she quickly goes to the stairs to Dennis' room and knocked on the door, "Dennis? Open the door."

Dennis opened the door and jumps back onto his bed. He was confused and he doesn't know anymore. Dennis muffled on his blanket, "What do you want to come here for?"

Ming signed and she sat next to him. It's gonna be a conversation between Ming and her son. Ming replied, "I want to talk to you a long time ago and the curse is real."

Dennis heard and got his attention on his mother and he is listening, "Go on."

Ming explained, "It's curse that plant a curse on me a long time ago and I should have told you before, but you would be depress and sad."

She recalled, "A long time ago when I was 13 years old in China, I was fighting someone who is an evil princess."

It was a stormy night between Ming and the Evil Princess.

Ming yelled in anger, "What do you want from me and my people?"

"I want revenge and mostly on you because I am sensing a great future that will destroy the whole world that because of your future son," the evil princess smirked.

Ming replied, "SO what, I'm beating you down to the ground and you will regret it. Don't care if I have a son in the future."

Then Ming's sister came and she yelled, "Ming! DON'T GO NEAR HER!"

Ming looked back and she replied, "No, I have to save the village and it's our family code of honor."

Ming yelled and charge at the evil princess. The princess charged at black beam at her hand and it was dark. She chanted a spell, "If she have a first born son, that son will suffer in the darkness for the rest of his life by other evil creatures. After that, he will join me."

Ming painfully takes the curse inside of her mouth and then it spreads to the rest of her body. Her sister screamed for her and Ming was continues to scream from the pain. The evil princess laughed at her and she disappeared.

"And that is how it started to you," Ming finished. "It's a really story from my teen years and I was training in Tai Chi in China."

"I believe you and I wonder who is that evil princess, but who knows," Dennis chuckled a little with her.

Ming chuckles with him a little too, "So, how about dinner?"

"Sounds great," Dennis smiled.

"Your dad is great at cooking and I'm terrible at cooking, but he is still a great husband to me," Ming replied and she kisses Dennis on the cheeks and leaves the room.

Dennis looks out of his window, wondering if Nefaria is going to protect him. Immediately, Sora called Dennis down for dinner and today's dinner is Teriyaki with chicken and rice.

-Line Break-

Back in Amity Park, Freakshow and Vlad were both out of the Ghost Zone and finally retrieve the Devil's staff.

Suddenly, Danny and his friends came down to the lab and they all gasped. Danny gasped, "Freakshow and Vlad?"

"Oh no, what are you doing here, Plasmius?" Tucker demanded.

"I got a partner that will takes over something like weak ghosts and got Freakshow out of the Guys in White," Vlad smirked back at them.

Freakshow raised the staff at Danny and he ordered, "Obey me, ghost!"

Sam pleaded, "Danny, don't look at it."

Danny covers his eyes and tried not to look at it. Looks like is going to fight with his eyes close. Tucker shouted out, "I will guide you along the fight." Danny nodded and he asked, "Where?"

Vlad begins to move and shot him behind his back. Danny screamed a little and turned back and shot with his green ghost ray, but Vlad quickly dodges it.

Vlad went under Danny and Tucker shouted, "Fly up!"

Danny flew up in the midair and trying to sense Vlad somewhere. Vlad gave him a surprise smack down and sits on top of Danny, "It's GAME OVER PHANTOM!"

Freakshow ran over there and holds his staff out and makes Danny to look at it, "Obey me ghost, you can't win."

"Oh yeah, have you ever heard of my ghostly wail?" Danny deeply inhaled and then blasted a ghostly wail out of his mouth. Vlad, Freakshow, and his friends were all pushed back against the wall and Danny stopped. Vlad was human form for a short time and reverts back to his ghost form. Danny's ghost energies were wasted and he transformed back to his human form.

Sam gasped, "Danny!"

Danny opened his eyes and saw the staff in Freakshow's hands. Freakshow commanded him with the Devil's staff, "Obey me ghost and leave this room and come and join us."

Danny's eyes suddenly flashed red and he stood up and he obeyed, "What do you want to do master?"

Freakshow smirked and he command, "Just come with us for a while and that's all."

Danny replied in mind-controlled voice, "Okay."

Sam asked Freakshow, "What are you using him for?"

"Just for stealing, getting more ghosts, and training him as our apprentice," Freakshow smirked back.

Vlad said, "Yeah, yeah and let's go." He holds onto Freakshow's wrists and leaves the lab intangibly. Danny followed along and leaves the lab.

Sam and Tucker gasped, "Danny!"

Tucker was beginning to worry and he said, "We have to notify Danny's parents."

Sam nodded, "Let's got."

They both left the lab and went upstairs to see Danny's parents, who are in the living room.

Maddie happily asked, "How are you doing kids?"

"Danny is in trouble," Sam said in worry.

Tucker added, "He has been kidnap by Freakshow and Vlad with the Devil's staff."

Jack stood up and he shouted, "Danny is kidnap! I have to get my Fenton Bazooka."

Sam stopped him, "Wait, wait wait, let's call his allies, like Team Razor Fox or Team Yin Yang."

"Call Team Yin Yang and we need to get him," Maddie smiled.

Tucker picks up the phone and called Dennis' home number, "Come on."

Dennis picks it up and he asked, "Hello?"

"Hi! Danny is in trouble and his enemies kidnap him with that strangely looking staff," Tucker freaked out on him.

"Okay and maybe I will take your request and I'm having bad visions of my enemy, Kevin," Dennis talked to him back on the phone.

"Alright, can you find him tomorrow?" Tucker asked.

"Sure, as long no one comes to bother me, since I'm suspended from school. My parents weren't mad at me because they understand, but the staffs in school don't. I'll see you in the morning." He hangs up the phone and Tucker too.

Sam asked, "What did the leader of Team Yin Yang said?"

"He will help us and he got himself suspended from school and he got one very lucky parents that do understand him besides Danny's parents, no offense."

"None taken," Sam smiled.

Tucker asked, "See each other in the morning?"

"Absolutely," replied Tucker and he smiled at her.

Tucker and Sam both go home and take a rest to recharge their energies for the next day, even Danny's parents too.

Over in San Diego, Dennis was tired from a family conversation with his parents about school and his situation. He is tired of seeing visions of Kevin everywhere and he prays for Nefaria to come and protect him overnight.
