I have a preoccupation with procrastination,
approaching her like a lover's quest.
I seem to yearn to know her ins and outs,
the ups and down, down, downs, of spiralling
into timelessness as minutes blur into hours
and hours into days
and deadlines beat a dull tune of adrenaline
and anxiety through my disobliging veins.
