The pen posed in my hand

The paper waiting for my words

Once they start

Words flow like water

They flood the page

With secret desires

The ideas pour out

As I write word after word

In my mind a scene plays out

I see sparkling water sea-green

The reflection of dazzling sunlight blinds me

The cold water washes over my bare feet

The clear surface

Reveals a beautiful scene

Fish swimming round and round

Their colors bright and beautiful

Cold dazzling lights

Calling to me
