The wedding of Princess Luana and Prince Sholto was a huge deal to the Forbayans and the Yonmen. Gifts of all sorts came in from foreign places.

Though Luana couldn't see anything, she could feel the happiness that resonated from Sholto and that was enough.

On that day, the Yonmen gave a public apology regarding the attack fifteen years ago. They graced the castle with 'ornaments of gold and rich purples', according to Sholto.

Luana so desperately wished she could see her beloved husband, but it was okay. He was her eyes and wouldn't miss a single detail when she asked for it.

One morning, six months into their marriage, Luana descended the stairs on her own, without clicking her tongue for the very first time.

When Luana knew she was in the dining room, she saw a blurry figure sitting where Sholto was supposed to be.

She clicked her tongue to get to her seat and realised it was Sholto.

"You're hair, it's brown isn't it?" Luana asked as a greeting.

"Yes, and good morning to you too," he answered, his tone surprised but happy.

Luana excitedly examined his candid face. She couldn't see much, only a blur where his mouth and nose should be. But she saw his forest green eyes that pierced through her soul in the most pleasant way.

"You have such brilliant eyes," Luana stated, as she got a plate of fluffy yellow eggs.

"My father always called my eyes wild," Sholto stated flatly.

"They are, that's what makes them so pretty," Luana said, smiling shyly at her plate.

Sholto just laughed and shook his head.

A year into their marriage, Luana was able to see clearly.

And that same year, they had a baby girl. Princess Lua Adella Cristoph. Luana was so happy to see she had inherited her father's good looks.

The next year brought a baby boy. Prince Chauncey Lonzo Cristoph. Luana began to realise how talented he was with the harpsichord once he was older.

And just like the fairytales that Luana never believed in until now, they all lived happily ever after…

I couldn't resist putting an epilogue to this story. I love happy endings so much!
