You see right through me
You see right through me all the time
With those crystal blue orbs that you call eyes.
No matter what words I say to you,
You always know they're all lies.
I tell you there's nothing wrong.
I say I'm perfectly fine.
You scoff and you tell me
You won't fall for that pathetic excuse that I call a line.
It's hard to hide it from you.
It's a fight I'll never win.
The way you look at me
Makes each and every lie feel like a sin.
Even so, I hide my lock
And I throw away my key,
But it will never do me any good
Because you can see right through me.
