The River of Life

There is a River that runs through all our lives, and we are but the pebbles underneath His torrent flow. When we first enter this world, we are the rough, jagged stones that enter into this eternal Stream. Over time, the River molds us and makes us into the form that He desires. Sometimes the River is calm, tranquil, and serene. Other times He is bumpy, rough, and even violent. Nevertheless, the rocks and pebbles underneath hold on to their Anchor and change with the continuous Pour. Some call this river the River of Life, for it is this River that makes us who we truly are.
