His stomach screeching for blood, face malnourished, eyes a deep crimson red, he slowly descends the branches with ease, as if he were a feather dropping through water. Rustling the bluish-green leaves under his red glowing leather suit, he quickly finds his way out of the forbidden pitch black woods.
Walking down the sidewalk flooded with bright neon colors of street names and hovering cars of bright lights that all come together in a majestic gloom. Xather wipes the sweat dripping from his face in abnormal amounts, "what the hell am I supposed to do?" Walking into downtown Etor, He wrenchingly notices a familiar face coming towards him, Feeling sicker by the second he tries to advert all attention by walking towards the dark trees that line the sidewalk, but is too late.
"Xather?" The girls face lights up.
"Holy shit! Xather, it is you!" Xather turns towards the girl slowly, controlling his dominating hunger.
Glancing at her face for a short second, he recognizes this girl as Cassidy, a girl he met while traveling the borders of Gastus, (the country just north of Etor to the farthest coast).
"Oh, Cassidy, what do you want?"
Feeling offended, but shrugging it off, "it's just that, it's been so long Xather, how are you ā I mean where have you been? I looked all over for you; I thought we were friends..."
"Cassidy listen, I don't want to see your face ever again, we are not friends, and if I see you again I will kill you where you stand."
Cassidy takes a step back, "but, but Xather, Iā¦"
"Enough!" Xather screeches loudly, "leave me Cassidy or I will-"Xather drops to his knees holding in his vomit, he almost rolls onto his left arm.
Xather's Hair turning Dark red and silver at the tips, Caressing his face, His fangs elongate slowly and a cloud of euphoria be stills his mind, the true vampiric nature of his being knows no limits, all pain gone, His hungry furiously demanding fresh blood.
"Xather, you're a Vampire?"
"Yes"
A tear razors across Cassidy's right cheek and drops mercilessly to the cold ground, "Xather you ā you hunger for blood, my blood."
Xather barely keeping his concentration, her heartbeat drowns out her voice and fills Xather's head, picturing ever major artery, blood vessels, the heart, and the neck.
Controlling his demands for crimson drink, he quickly draws himself back into reality, "Cassidy, I will not drink from you, if you leave me, please."
Cassidy frowns as another tear escapes her eye, "can we be friends Xather? After I leave, can we still be friends?"
"Yes, I would enjoy that very much so."
Cassidy walks past Xather in a disappointed fashion. Maybe she knew that him visiting her would never be true, that she would never see his majestic face again.
Xather levitates to a high-rise, staring at the otherworldly array of lights, taking in every heartbeat in a ten-mile radius. He floats down to the highest window on the building he was standing, staring through the window. A girl of about age twelve lay in her bed with a small wizard of some sort lighting up her room from the main infinite energy source in her apartment. Made of simple electromagnetics and a circular sphere, the magnetics react with each other and spin the sphere at mach-4 speed, creating more energy than four million windmills at the same time. Such technology is standard in every household. Her father lay in the other room on a levitating cushioned couch, staring at the holographic projection built into the wall, (such technology is standard).
Noticing the father is dead asleep, creeps through the double door glass entrance that leads to the balcony look-out. Stepping straight into the girl's room, he crouches beside her bed, staring deeply into her eyes. The girl lays awake not making a sound but taking in the beautiful red hair slithering through the air just to meet almost neon silver tips, almost like needles attached to a floating mass of blood.
"I see a beautiful monster from my dreams." The girl said with a delicate touch.
"I see a pretty face of innocence held to no bounds of failure."
The girl reaches up to touch his face, "Ah, you mustn't touch me, I'm bad to the core, I would spoil your innocence."
"No" the girl concluded, "I only wish to live freely as you do, no chains attached, I wish to feel the cool air chill my nerves as I flow through the wind without a care."
"There's always a time to free yourself, now just isn't the time, you mustn't rush your youth, feel the warmth it has to offer."
"Thank you, vampire, I will remember this day forever."
The girl turns her head towards his arm leaning on her bed, exposing her smooth soft neck.
Xather licks the area he craves giving her his personal aesthetic so she doesn't feel a twitch of pain. His fangs throbbing with delight, his head lifts and lowers, his hair tingles and moves in the still air. Gulp after gulp, he bites down deeper piercing deeper into her artery as blood seeps through his lips onto her white pillow. The girl lets out a small moan of pain, Xestra let's his fangs off the wound, licking it clean, giving it more aesthetics, he bits down again devouring massive gulps and warm blood flooding his mouth and slithering down his throat.
His thirst quenched of young, fresh, innocent blood, he stands up and walks towards the double glass doors leading to the balcony. As he's about to jump the girl mutters, "I felt your loss, your love and your pain, I am sorry vampire."
