The smell of dried tears,

The only comfort at a time like this.

When you can't see the light,

And your lost in your thoughts,

And the comforts from the warm wearing fabric,

Of a much loved bear.

.

The chewed off ear,

That nervous first day at school,

When you took your first step,

To growing up,

You said goodbye

To a much loved bear.

.

He was always there,

After a bad day at school

Or a nightmare that wouldn't stop,

You would grab him close

And say I love you,

To a much loved bear.

.

He's the only constant in the pictures,

In your hand or sitting in the corner,

But each night would end the same,

Him snuggled close,

And you still say goodnight,

To a much loved bear.
