Everyone boarded the subway heading towards Yonge-Bloor. They all sat in awkward silence. "Rin.." She looked up from her smiling baby and as Marco called her name. "Can I speak to you for a second?" She looked around the group, caught eyes with his ex, who continuously glared at her, then Kurt. Kurt leaned in towards her whispering, "I think its time you told him. He may not deserve to know but you can't hide this from him forever. Sooner or later he will realize that this is his child." She sat there silently spacing out.
-Flash Back-
"Buba, I love you and Dakota. Right baby." He leaned in whispering to her stomach.
"I can't wait to see and hold you." He looked up at her smiling happily, then kissed her stomach.
-End Flash Back-
Her eyes got watery as she looked down. "Shiit…" She whispered to herself. Marco still stood there waiting for an answer. Rin shook her head. She wasn't ready to face him. Not yet. He looked down sad. Since they got on the train Marco had ignored all his friends and kept paying attention to Rin and the baby. He watched as Rin picked up Dakota and motion for Kurt to pass her the baby bottle. Rin looked down smiling joyfully forgetting the world around her as she feed Dakota. Kurt put his arm around her and her son and kissed her cheek. She noticed that Marco looked away grimacing. Rin looked back at Kurt and smiled. "I love you baby." He said, making her blush. "I love you too." Kurt took Dakota to burp him. Rin placed the bottle back in the back of the stroller. She sat back subconsciously rubbing her stomach. Blushing and thinking to herself. I'm having another baby. I'm with such a beautiful man. I love the first joy of my life too. You can't get any happier then this. She looked up noticing Marco was watching her. His faced looked a bit distorted, he sat there staring at her stomach. Rin dropped her hands quickly as he caught her gaze. Rin looked away to Kurt blushing. Dakota was fast asleep in his arms.
"Do are you gonna do the math or not. We all know that's your baby." Rin looked back Marco's direction shocked as Marco's ex fling, spoke. "So Who's baby are you having now? His?" She spoke gesturing to Kurt.
"I-I uh" She began stuttering.
"How many months are you, like 4?"
She nodded looking at Marco, the expression of shock was stuck on his face. Kurt interrupted, "Come on, lets go." He said getting up strapping Dakota in the stroller. "We have to transfer to the next train." He got up. Rin followed behind Kurt. As everyone else followed behind her. Marco whispered, "Rin…" But she walked as if she never heard it. They board the next train. On this train ride, they all rode in silence. Finally, some odd stops later, they got off at Dundas which leaded right into the The Eatons Centre. They all explored the mall together, but Rin was hoping it would be with just her and her family. But as she feared Marco tagged along too. And with Marco tagging along that meant his ex and his friends tagged along too. Kurt pushed the baby stroller as Rin walked beside him. Marco's Ex kept mumbling sometime to herself. Marco walked on the other side of Kurt ignoring her and looking at Dakota's sleeping form. Marco's friend walked beside the girl.
Minutes later, from just walking around the mall, Kurt pushed Rin into a jewellery store. He kept asking her which rings she liked. "W-why?" Rin looked at him blushing. He smiled and kissed my ring finger. "I'm going to marry you one day, I want to know the perfect ring for you." Rin blushed looking down at her feet. Kurt pulled her into a tight hug. "It's okay. I already know what you like." She looked up at him confused. He looked back down smiling at her. "What?" Kurt got down on one knee taking Rin's hand. He grabbed a small black box off the glass table and everyone in the store stopped to watch. "Now look, I've known you for 18 years missy. I've been there with you through thick and thin. And I pretty much think its time that I make you mine. And with this ring," He said opening the ring box, exposing a white gold ring with a huge diamond on it and several little ones surrounding it. "I want to let it be known to the world. How much I love you and care for you. Rin, will you marry me?" Her hands flew up to her face, tears falling down, She was blushing. Everyone was staring at her, just waiting for an answer. She looked around at everyone, then to Dakota, then Marco, then back at Kurt. She nodded her head slowly whispering yes. He took her hand and placed the ring on it. Kurt picked her up and hugged her, shouting in the store, "I love this woman!" Everyone in the store roared and cheered. He put her back down and leaned over the stroller, looking at the now awake and confused child. "You hear that buddy? Daddy just asked Mama to marry him, and she said yes. We're going to be an official family now." Dakota looked up at him with his big greenish eyes and laughed playfully. Rin glanced over at Marco who stormed off as his friends followed. "Come on baby, the rings already paid for. We can continue our shopping." Kurt said looking down at her smiling.
