Forgotten Wind

From dawn till dusk the wind does howl

Strange and stirring melodies of years long past

A story for the wisest wolf

A warning to the slyest fox

A lullaby to the youngest pup

A message to the wounded soldier

A cry to the fearless teen

A hug to the lonesome child

A yell of anger to the hopeless drunken stranger

On its melody glides over tree tops and under fire

Through rain and snow, lighting, and thunder its message does go

To those who will listen and those too deaf to hear the calling of the wind

Strange and stirring its melody does ring

From the forgotten past of Heavens memories
